My question is............ What is your LEAST favorite part about a disney cruise?
Having never been on a Disney Cruise before, I am going to say that waiting for our cruise date to get here is my least favortive part. :teeth:

Now for my question: If you could only make one reservation on the cruise, including excursions, spa, Palo, etc., what would you choose?

Sorry I can not answer the question that was just asked...Since I have never been so I will leave it to the veteran cruisers...out there....

I will have to wait for the next question...Like the idea of this game it could get interesting...

Buck, Oh I want to see that movie too...Have a great date...Thinking Jen comes home on monday...

Windermite, Have fun at the lake with the kids....

I would have to say, dinner at Palo. My DH's job takes him away from home all week. When I work I usually work 6 days a week leaving only Sundays to get things done around the house, no time for ourselves. Our dinner at Palo is like having a first date all over again.

What is your LEAST favorite part about a disney cruise?
I'd like to answer this one too. The last breakfast with our server :sad1:
We give them thier tip envelopes the night before with the amount DCL suggest then the next morning we give each one another envelope with a $50.bill in it saying it from (dd) Ashley's buddies, she brings a few stuffed friends along on the cruise sometimes one or two will dress for dinner and join us.

My question is: What are you looking forward to doing most while on the ship.
Example: Seeing the show, eating the food, maybe doing a cooking class, or just doing nothing.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.........................
Tough one................

Eating!
oh yeah..........and "drink of the day".

Do you have a "pre-cruise" ritual?

Hello to all! Looks like Kel is back to her old self. The installer just left and our new dishwasher looks and sounds GREAT!
Not much going on here this weekend. Yard work and cleaning house....yahoo!

Hello everyone, I haven't been on for a while, but it is nice to be back
& just in time to play! :thumbsup2

start a game? Let's make it a question game... I'll ask a question and let's see who want to answer. And who ever answers gets to ask another question of their own which anyone can jump in and answer! Who ever answers should COPY or QUOTE the game rules above to keep this going properly through the weekend plus!
My question was ...
pre-cruise ritual?[/

Going to Walt Dinsney World Resorts. :wizard:

I would like to answer this question too...What are you looking forward to doing most while on the ship.
Example: Seeing the show, eating the food, maybe doing a cooking class, or just doing nothing

I can't wait to put the kids in club and hit the sunny deck! :sunny: :rotfl: ok,.. I'll let them come to the deck too,..but I really want to be alone! :rotfl2:

OK,... my question is - What is your favorite resturaunt and why?

Do you have a "pre-cruise" ritual?

Going to Walt Dinsney World Resorts. :Pinkbounc

That's a good one!

We usually head over to the port the day before the cruise, and go out to eat the night before at a place called "Grills".

Makes you feel like vacation has arrived!

Here's the first question.... WHAT 1st gave you the idea to try a Disney Cruise? This question appeals to everyone including those out on their 1st DCL cruise!

Cheers! :thumbsup2

Ok..........I like the question so I know this was not the "rules" but I am going with my answer to the original ?

We were vacationing in Cocoa Beach one year and were looking for somewhere to eat dinner. The kids had fallen asleep in the backseat and so we just kept on driving. All of a sudden we came upon the port and there was the Wonder or Magic (don't know which one).....my husband and I fell in love at first sight! We had never even seen a cruise ship up close and that was it. It took us a year to get on the Wonder and give it a try but we were hooked.................

Least favorite thing........Safety Drill (I know it's necessary, but it puts a pause in my fun)

Must have Reservation..........BRUNCH at Palo (didn't like the dinner so much)

Pre Cruise Ritual.........we change every year, fly in the night before and stay somewhere in the area

Have a great Saturday,

Missyoh8

ok what is the latestet question???

I have one:

What is your favorite thing to do while at CC?

tchrmom said:
This is easy.................drink Konk Koolers and sit in the sun!

Fran
:teacher:

very close..........sit in the sun and drink "ice cold beer" (you have to bring it yourself and pack it in a cooler!)

What is your favorite thing to do while at CC?
\

Playing in the sand.

My question is: Which island are you most looking forward to visiting and why?

St Maarten.... because it sort of feels like we're visiting someplace exotc with the dutch and french lingo and environmental flavors. Plus there's plenty we have not done so there remain many options to explore! Yeah... I know I passed on CC and ST. That's bcause we actually have seen a lot of ST and CC is really very very nice... but for us it is predictibly packaged and will not be too much of a surprise for us... especially since our spies have already revealed the true nature of the surprises being built! <wink!> ;)

NEXT Question..... What costumes are you planning to pack for our cruise?

:lmao:  :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Now Kristen... don't start with criticizing me on my question .... :woohoo: We're now watching a DVD rerun of the Travel Channel show on the Disney Cruise line. :goodvibes

tchrmom - We ate at Grills last year before the Cruise and watched the Wonder leave Port. We lucked up with a seat outside and had a perfect view. I also LOVE KONK KOOLER"S it is my favorite drink besides the Miami Vice!!

HI Ginger!!!!!

NEXT Question..... What costumes are you planning to pack for our cruise?
Rick my Husband is planning on dressing up as a Mummy. I am still thinking. We went as Pirate's in 2004 on the Disney Magic. I am sure we will dress up pirate: as Pirate's on Pirate night too.

My Question is- What is your favorite food item on the cruise?

Teri

missyoh8- I also dislike going to the safety drill, but my LEAST favorite think to do on a Disney Cruise is disembarking. (Boo Hoo) I alway's have to book another Cruise when I get home to cheer up. :teeth:

I also have to have Brunch. It is my FAVORITE meal.

Teri :tigger:

My question is: Which island are you most looking forward to visiting and why?

I can not wait for st. sthomas.. We had our honeymoon there and we went back for our five year as well...We can not wait to go and visit our friend Vernita who lives there..and all of the other friends we made while honeymooning twice there...

Ok capt.
I will not make fun of your question..But I think we are onto a new question anyway..One I can not answer thus being my first DCL and all...But in response to your question I am planning on being cinderella and dh prince charming along with our daughters as princesses as well...OK enough laughing now...capt. we too have seen that special on DCL it is pretty good..
No repsonses yet to Terri's latest question.....

I'll keep my answer pretty simple (and near honsest) since I have so many valid choices. My answer is.... (drum roll, please)..... "ta da" .... :mickeybar

I believe anyone can respond to the NEXT Question with a little imagination.... :thumbsup2 C'mon Kristen... this ones' for you IF you're still awake.... otherwise lets have anyone step forward with a reply and Kristen can still sort of reply later if ya want to! :goodvibes

If you could "play" in any role or have any job on the Magic for a day during our cruise .... and that is ANY JOB... which job would you want to have for a day? And for part 2 of the question.. what sort of mischef and nonsense might you exercise in your role for a day?

And since you were so nice about the costume thing... I'll admit MY costume will be a 7 layer Anakin Jedi Knight outfit and Alicia will be in a Padme Battle damaged costume. The all white skin tight thing with the sleeve and mid tummy section torn off with rips on back by the wild cat monster in the arena. The kids do not as yet have Halloween costumes but I want to acquire little Jedi knight outits for them. My spouse has been a good sport about the outfit I got her... but she won't let me bring the light saber I bought since it's a little pricey and almost impossile to travel with... sob! :guilty: So I'll have to settle for a plastic toy light saber she bought for me. She leaves it out where I can see it everyday which is her way of saying it's gonna be her way or the "highway".... I find heart warming amusement in the most mundane things she does! :darth:

Did someone say Konk Koolers....LOVE THEM. One of my favorite memories from our last trip was relaxing on CC watching the kidos in the water, visiting with our friends Choc Marg and AWOL and of course sipping on Konk Koolers. :sunny:

PS You can order them on the ship and make them at home :yay:

The Island we are looking forward to returning to is St. Martin so we can try and sail on the Pirate Sail Boat. Last year it was cancelled due to rough seas

As far as working on the ship even for a da, no way. I can't even imagine having to work when everyone else is having so much fun. Ok let's see perhaps I could be the person who teaches the Martini classes. I do not know how to make a Martini but I could learn.

My question is ...........what is your favorite excursion?

tchrmom - We ate at Grills last year before the Cruise and watched the Wonder leave Port. We lucked up with a seat outside and had a perfect view. I also LOVE KONK KOOLER"S it is my favorite drink besides the Miami Vice!!

I knew I liked you! ;)

Now what is a Miami Vice??????????

PS You can order them on the ship and make them at home

I was looking for our recipe last night. XLT and I were in the mood for something "tropical" and I could not find my recipe. We ended up making mojitos. A friend of our introduced us to that drink on the 7/2/05 west coast cruise. Ours last night, were not as good as the ones fron the cruise......but close enough. Can you share your recipe??? :)

Fran
:teacher:

My question is ...........what is your favorite excursion?

Last October.........we did a dune buggy tour (not the disney one) in Cozumel. It was by far, the best one we've ever done. It was all day affair........and worth every penny!!!!

Wait...........I also liked the zip line excursion that we did in Porta Vallarta (sp?......and I don't feel like pulling out the dictionary) on the west coast cruise..................I forgot about that one..........maybe it is the best WEST coast excursion..........and the dune buggy is the best EAST coast one. :thumbsup2

How early do you start packing?
('cause I'm at 75 days for my May cruise.........and I'm ready to pull out those suitcases!) :lmao:
