Ah, Shucks! Thanks Terri

Just a word of warning... If you get a knock at your door and it is GDAC and/or AWOL they are just looking for treats for their red solo cups.

Great Idea Teri,

I made up some extra stuff tooo...Thanks for the idea...

I finished my bags today and made a bunch extra DH is going to scream when he sees all of the junk I have bought....

Remember tomorrow is the final day to order t-shirts and sign up for trick or treat!!!!!!!!!

Kritter,
Did you find the beach you were looking for on St. Martin yet? Did you check out the http://bestbuds.xoompages.com/ report on St. Martin? I didn't look at the St. Martin one, but the report on St. Thomas was pretty comprehensive.

43 days of anticipation on the wall, 43 days of premeditation, you take one down, pass it around....

Great idea about goody bags for the CM's. Target has these great halloween plastic goody bags. 8 for a $1. I think I will go get some today!

Welcome misseulalie! Was it your thread I read about a very disappointing Carnival cruise? Glad to see you are joining us on this sailing. This is our first cruise, and we are so looking forward to it. :wave2:

Yep, that was me!

We hated that cruise, thank god it was cheap and didn't spend a lot of $$ on it.
I felt sorry for the people who flew in for it.

You will love DCL, the only problem is that once you go, you keep wanting to go back!

Hi everyone. I hope all is well. I've been doing some shopping for the cruise and today Walmart had Pirates of the Caribbean continuous spray sunscreen for $6. Thay had Not so Raven too. Spf 30. They also have the Coppertone continuous spray for kids spf 50 for $6. It's usually $11.

I was stressing about Cameron's clothes earlier (he's 8). Last year I put him in long dress pants each night. He has some beautiful new Polo shirts and Nautica etc... I think this year I will put him in the nice shirts with nice polo shorts for dinner (except for formal and semiformal). Do you think that's o.k.?

Halloween stuff is EVERYWHERE I am getting so excited. We're celebrating Craig's birthday tonight. Cake in the oven!!

I think that would be fine!!!! Many people take the no shorts thing very literally, but I just can't help but think that dress shorts on a boy are fine. I wouldn't think twice about it if I saw it!!!!! Others do feel otherwise though. I would say go with what you are comforatable with!!! Plus, I have heard that the dining rooms can be very warm!!! :sunny: :wizard:

Happy Birthday Craig!!!!! party: :bday:

Jen, I agree with pans...but of course, I haven't been on a cruise yet. So I don't know exactly what they wear in the dining rooms. But Cam is only 8, and I know you have VERY good taste. I'm sure he'll be looking spiffy and adorable!

I've done lots of shopping in the last few days as well. I have the POC sunscreen also!! I struck gold at Old Navy for Drew. Bought 2 pair of flat front khaki's (dark and light) @ 2 for $28.00, and I also found a pair of straight leg jeans for $3.97!!! They were sitting in clearance all by themselves, the only pair of jeans in there, and just happened to be a size 12 slim!! How lucky is that? I can't get jeans at Walmart for under $4.00, and they look really cute on him. A little on the long side still, but his 10's were getting too short.....looked like floods! I found some really cute tights for Kylie at Target. They are black with sparkles woven into them, and they have little hearts and skull & crossbones printed on them. I figure they will be perfect for pirate night.

43 more days until we hear that horn........

Happy Birthday Craig!!

Pans and D....thanks for your thoughts. The more I think about it the more confident I am with the dress shorts. There will only be 3 nights that aren't a special theme. Looking back at all my pictures last year he looks uncomfortable. I have been shopping ALL YEAR so Bucki you're right, I have a TON ( way too much when you start to shop/plan starting the year before) of never worn clothes. I just hope this stuff will fit them in the spring or Craig will kill me!!

Deanna...SCORE! Those jeans were destined for Drew. Cameron is a slim too. I LOVE when stuff like that happens. The tights sound adorable. I was at Target yesterday. I am there usually once a week. LOVE IT! What's Drew wearing for Pirate night?

Craig will be home soon.........can't wait for cake!! He'll thank you for the good wishes!

Crash, have a safe and "Magical" trip!!

Craig thanks all of you for the happy birthdays.

Kristin, tonight I made a "Golden buttercup layer cake" with chocolate buttercream frosting. The recipes are from the Magnolia bake shop in NYC. It took a good part of my day, but was well worth it!! What have you been doing. I think it's been almost 24 hrs since we last spoke :scared1: ! What did you think about Survivor? I'll have to DVR it from now on because The Office and Greys's Anatomy are starting this coming Thurday. Desperate H.W.
Sunday!!
