I think that is VERY harsh silent and VERY disrespectful, and I have "lost all respect for you".

I stay true to my word. I respected her opinion when she stated she preferred if they were only released for one day. But when she said that people were being greedy, I instantly saw the flip-flop and I was troubled by it.

I think you all need to just take a chill pill and stop ganging up on pixie.

Ganging up? Like I stated, I didn't care about what she said until she contradicted herself.

If you have a problem with that, I respect your opinion

I want one of everything in VMK. But that's because I'm a collector. I don't trade for extras of stuff; I trade strictly for items I don't have, all in an attempt to complete my collection. Like in real life, I enjoy collecting things and trying to complete sets of things; for years I've been trying to collect one of every type of Beanie Baby bear that's sold. I collect baseball cards, logo baseballs, pressed pennies, etc. But they're so numerous, it's hard to have a complete collection; in VMK it's more feasible (I like to think) because there are fewer items. So I guess I'm having a hard time understanding how being a collector is the same thing as being greedy. Unless I'm misunderstanding something, which is entirely possible.

we are discussing virtual costumes,
we can all have our opinions, no one can critasize another for what they say,
that applies to the disrespect to pixiewytch and the ganging up on silent pedro moments after.
She had her own opinions, he had his own opinions, everyone has their opinions.
we are here trying to post some of them on this topic about the virtual costumes.
now can we please just stop giving out to one another and return to the topic?
I think they should be out for a week, because although they will be less rare, everyone will be able to get the one they want.
they will get rare at some stage, some girl or boy will not buy a costume, and later on will want one.

That is her opinion on what she would like. She is not being greedy, but stating her opinion. Perhaps she wanted them to be released only one day so less costumes will be in VMK, therefore making it rarer. Being greedy however has nothing to do with that, and if you don't have the facts on the rest of her opinion don't critisize her.

As an original player from beta, I am delighted to see costumes being re-released for the newer guests. After all, not all players are teens or adults who are "into" the trading aspects of the game. Many are young children who don't give a hoot for rare but just want to "dress up" like a princess or cowboy or spaceman. So happy collecting for Halloween everyone!

I agree, Tiinkerbelle - all of a sudden, the discussion took a nasty turn. I don't see any need to get so worked up, SilentPedro and FrontierNatasha - everyone is just stating their own opinions.

I totally agree with Bevgray here... People this is all about fantasy and enjoyment. Although I am an adult and I do enjoy trading, I don't want this to turn into cut throat Wall Street. I'm patient enough and realize that however long they are out, if they retire (and eventually they will) they will go up in value. I bet costumes weren't valueable last year right away... But by the time I got on in April they were. If by April '07 VMK and us are all still around, I bet the red cowboy and brown mansion and even the black mansion will all be nice and valuable again!



More importantly I just want people young and old to have fun! If they want costumes, let them get the costumes!
