Halloween costume clearance?

Anyone know when Halloween costumes go on clearance at Target/Walmart, etc? Hoping to get some for the dress up trunk this year

IME November 1st. I know our Spirit Store has some costumes on clearance already but nothing that I would put in a dress up trunk really......lol Mostly stuff for adults, although I think I did see a couple of Amy Brown fairy costumes, but I think they were for older kids.....
Candy will go 30% off at Target first, at least it does at my Target, I rarely go to Wal-Mart so I don't know what they do.
