Halloween Availability

Hi, I apologize in advance if this is not the proper place to put this. Long story short my wife and I are waiting for our first resale contract to go through and we should be getting our member number any day now. We are trying to go to get reservations for BLT 1 BDR for Oct 30th-Nov 4th. I however can't see the availability yet. Is there a place I can go to check this without a member number? We are in limbo until we get the member number and points loaded. This is my first time going, we are open to other resorts but we really would like to try BLT first. Thank you in advance!

The member website and member services via phone are the best way to check availability. But you have to have your membership number to use either. There’s a “last minute getaways” webpage that shows available villas for the next 60 days or so, but it isn’t in real time and it doesn’t get updated often enough. FWIW, with reservations being in a constant state of flux, it won’t help to see availability today if you cannot book today.

Thank you for the reply and all of the info. I totally get the state of flux and that makes sense. Resale transactions have taken a long time and we thought we would have had our contract completed by now. I think it is just starting to weigh on me. Thank you for your help!

To add, we do not allow people to post what is available either due to the changing nature of the booking process.

Just FYI - I have had great luck booking dvc reservations very last minute. When you get your member number, just constantly check for availability for your dates. People cancel all the time and their cancelled reservations can show up on the dvc website for you to book. I say can, because sometimes cancelled dvc reservations fill waitlists and sometimes they don’t. I have gotten some great reservations - like jambo concierge at Christmas just searching the dvc website for cancellations!
