Halloween at Vero Beach?

Anyone ever been at Vero Beach for Halloween?
If so what kinds of events do they usually do, like do they have a trick or treat for the kids?

We usually go on the Disney Magic for Halloween but this year we've decided to be land lovers and give Vero our home resort a go.

I had a beach cottage booked but just today let it go because there is only going to be 3 of us. I can't see spending all those points on such a large place when we only need a 2 bedroom but I'd still love to see one.
We'll be there from 10/25/07 to 11/2/07 anyone else going in that time frame?

We have a daughter who is 10. Do you have any children?

Yes I do but he is 16, but he is still excited about going for Halloween.

We'll be there for two nights at Halloween, 10/30 to 11/1. After that we are going on the Wonder. We have two children, a boy age 12 and a girl age 14. DH's parents will be joining us too. We haven't booked yet because it's still before the seven-month window -- which is coming up in the next few days, I think.

I would also like to know if there are any Halloween activities at the resort -- although my guess is these would probably be geared toward younger children.

There's always tons of stuff going on for Halloween... definite opportunites for trick-or-treating as well as planned activities/crafts throughout the day.
