Hey All!!!!
Im Visiting Florida Oct 18-28 and Will be at Universal one of those Days!!! I have kids that are 5, 2, and 2 months traveling with me and wanted to plan accordingly. I know they have the Horror Nights, which we Wont be going to!! But I was wondering if there is anything else besides that Special for Halloween they have going on?? Like Disney has the Mickey's Not so Scary Party and SeaWorld has the Trick or Treating.
Ive had to make Early Reservations for Dinner for Disney and trying to plan everything out without knowing what the Events are going to be and on Certain Days!! The Only thing we are doing at Universal is the Charater Breakfast, but Other then that I just wanted to know if there was Anything else special that will be out During the Day I should be On the Look out for to Wait and Plan for!!
Thanks so much!!!

As far as I know, there is nothing but HHN for Halloween at Universal. The dates in October are:

October 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30 & 31

If you are trying to figure out the MNSSHP dates, you can check the Magic Kingdom calendar and notice when MK closes at 7. That's THE sign that there's a party scheduled that night.

For HHN, assuming it is still only at Universal Studios park and not Islands of Adventure (like I've heard rumored), that park will close at 5pm on the party days. It's not like WDW where party-goers can enter early and slowly they clear out the non-party-guest stragglers. At Universal they clear it out entirely and only after that do they start the party. And thank goodness for that! My son didn't even like being near the decorations for the party when we went in September 2011, let alone being there while the party is happening! And I'm a chicken too, when it comes to that sort of thing; I don't like being surprised or scared, so there will be no HHN for me!

Hope that helps. :) Our next trip is from the 9th through the 13th, so we'll be avoiding HHN 3 nights in a row! :scared:

OK Awesome Thanks so much!!! That's One I don't have to Worry about.... Its SO Stressful being able to Make Dinner Reservations 180 days in Advance for Disney and NOT Knowing what Days your Doing what, but you have to because they will be Sold out!! So I went out on a Limb and Just guessed!! Im hoping October Schedules come out Soon so I can let go of this Stress!!!
Thanks for your Help!! That is 1 day Relieved off my 10 Day Trip!!! LOL :lmao:

October's park calendars for WDW are up on the WDW site; I hope you have seen that.

Glad to get the HHN info to you, I know it helped me out! Universal's park hours might not be up for October (July is as far as I see right now, though that could change once we get to May), but at least they gave us the HHN info ahead of time.

I hope you got your ADRs!

We usually go during July and will be again this year but have planned to take another trip during Oct for the Halloween nights. I'm booking the 4 day stay on site. Can anyone tell me if that includes going at night for the parties at the park or is that separate.

Your onsite satay does not include admission to the parks, either for their regular operating hours, nor for special events.

Correct and just to add...unlimited Express does not carry over to hard ticket events like HHN. If you wanted Express, you would have to purchase the EP like everyone else. But...onsite guests can get into HHN early through a special entrance.

The package I purchase give us three day passes to the parks and the EP. My question meant to say will our park passes cover the nights too or are there different entrance tickets for the night activities.

Night activites like the Halloween Horror nights are an EXTRA cost and a separate ticket( kind of like the hard ticket events at Disney). They are not included in regular park tickets and the express pass is also not good for them( you need to purchase as separate express pass for them). Your park tickets are good for regular operating hours and regular evening hours

By any chance does anyone know the hours for the Halloween Party yet?

Many thanks!!!

3Miracles, did you see that the MNSSHP tickets are now on sale? I don't know if you were including that in your WDW portion, but it will at least tell you for sure when they are.

It's HARD to coordinate a multi-park trip (it's what we've done each time we've gone! best one was combining DisneyLAND and Universal Orlando, LOL...did that one the wrong way, jet-lag-wise) so I want to make sure you know what is happening in both parks so you can best make your plans!

Tinachichi, have you checked to see if your package is the best financial deal? Many people find that when staying ONsite they can do better by buying tickets elsewhere (like undercovertourist.com) and booking the room directly with Loews.

The perks of the package are actually perks of staying onsite, so you still get the early entrance and the unlimited express pass.

Thanks for the information. Never checked out that site. I've booked thru Universal and this year went with AAA that saved me considerable $$ but I will check out your suggestion for our Oct trip.

If you're taking more than complete vacation per 365 days, you might also want to consider an annual pass. :)
