Hi All, First post..be gentle please.

Doing MK this Thursday. Crystal Palace character breakfast. Halloween program goes on at night. We aren't interested in the Halloween program and additional cost necessarily but want to experience the fireworks in the park. Anyone have any knowledge of how Disney handles getting folks out of the park at 7pm when the park closes for those that did not buy the Halloween tickets? We were thinking we would just hang out in the park until the 9:30 fireworks but not try to do rides, etc. after 7pm. Think it can work?

Thanks!!!

If you want to see Wishes, go to the poly or somewhere.

And not to be too mean but if I saw you without a wristband I would turn you in. I paid over $150 for our family to enjoy this night, why should you for free?

Once the party starts, CMs are everywhere asking to see wristbands. You can't walk from one area to another without showing your wristband. When the parade starts, the CMs walk along the street and make everyone hold up their arms so they can check wristbands. In every store, they will check wristbands. Not to be mean, but there is really no way for you to stay if you have not purchased party tickets.

We are doing the Halloween party on 10/11 and we can not wait!!!! We were wondering how or if they ask people to leave.....I am glad that they do. we did pay alot of $$$$ for the tickets so it would not be fair to all of us...One week to go can not wait....

We just got back from Disney Last Week and did the 9/21 MNSSHP. It was great. There is a stage dance just as you get in and people are leaving. One side of the street is for people leaving and the other side is for people going. They do check to see if you have a wristband.

I'm still trying to figure out how the headless horseman rides the streets at night. Either the horse is very trained to ride that route or he has night vision goggles. It's pitch black and they dim the lights as he rides by.

We were there on 9/14 for the wettest party in Disney history :lmao: .
Anyway, only my daughter and I were staying, my mom was heading back to the resort with all our extra junk. We had been running from attraction to attraction all day and she wanted to do a little souvenir shopping before she left. CMs wouldn't even let her spend $$$ without a wrist band!

Don't get me wrong, we paid a lot of money for our tickets and I think it is only fair that if someone stays, they pay, but I was surprised they didn't even let her shop after 7pm. She was at the Emporium and on her way out, she had no intention of staying after shopping but I understand the CMs had no way of knowing that.

Once 7pm strikes you are outta there!

Last year the ride operators also were checking for wristbands. It is really a special party that is really worth the extra funds to go.

We're going 10/31. My mother-in-law has made us all pirate costumes that look amazing. I think we're hitting another park during the day, though, rather than wearing costumes all day at MK.

Can't wait!
