Interested to hear from anyone who has been to DLP for Halloween week, in particular to the Halloween Party! How does it compare to MNSSHP? How crowded are the parks in October half term?

Halloween is perhaps the best season at any park I have been to - it was truly wonderful. The decoration in the park is amazing and the interaction from CM's is great - I know some people aren't fans of the pumpkinmen or this year, the Pink Witches but I found them to be great - especially the pink witches - if you get in the swing of it is fantastic. I love it cause I do like the Villains but none of it is at all scary. The parties were exceptional!!! There is stuff going on everywhere you look and there are lots of interactions throughout the park and almost everyone there is in costume!! I would love to go back next year - the park was busy - on 30 October between daytime and the night-time party there were 73,000 people in the park....BTM had a wait time of 130 mins at midday - as long as you work with this it is great - standing in the q for Phantom Manor with the greatest collections of costumed Disney fans was ace!!! If you need anymore details let me know.

Here's TotallyAngelic's great review of their first visit to the Halloween party. :maleficen

I went in October Half Term last year for 3 nights.

We went to the Studios, which was not too busy.

We spent a day and a half at the Disneyland Park. It was very busy, but we still got everything done. One thing we found great, as BTM is our favourite ride, was to go on it about 30 minutes before the park closed. It is great in the dark with the halloween decorations around you. Also when the ride ends, we were lucky to get another ride in as they allow people to go on the rides up until closing. It was great to be in the park when it was quite empty.

The Village was also very busy after the Disneyland Park had closed, so if I went again at that time, I would book a dinner reservation in advance.

The Decorations in the park are brilliant though!!!!! The parade is great, and we had a great trip!!!!!
