Halloween at DLP

Hi everyone, this is my first post on here . I went on my first trip to DLP with my girlfriend in december last year (report coming soon with pictures!!) ..and i loved it.

Ever since we got back we have been thinking of when to go next, we know we want to stay in the Cheyenne (I love cowboys!!) but not sure when to go, i wont be able to afford to book it for another few months so have plenty of time to pick and choose, but we are thinking of going for my bday in october but were wondering what you guys think of disney halloween?

I've never been to Halloween but every picture and video makes it look as good as Christmas time; our favourite season

We went to Halloween last year and will be going again this year. It is brilliant...the best season in my opinion (and we also went at Christmas this year). The halloween party itself is amazing. Absolutely superb time to go we went in October 04 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, haven't been to the party itself - it's on my "to do" list.

I looked at the report TotallyAngelic..it looked great!!! im not sure if we can get there for actual party though, my bday is the 12th so might go 9th till 13th.

The only thing i was slightly worried about was whether because we will be going in the middle of october we will either miss out on the halloween goings on or we will arrive when everythings being set up and leave when its just getting going i think that would be very dissapointing!!

I have never tried it because it would totally freak my youngest child out (he cried through most of the Fantillusion parade because of the baddies!) - but all of the pictures I have seen make it look very atmospheric.

Welcome to the DLP board

I have been in the Halloween season twice- it is great fun, especially with all the pumpkin men. Halloweenland is great- and BTM is so fun to ride with the Halloween decorations above!!!!

We went on the 3rd October and all the decorations were up and the halloween events were in full swing both in the park and the village in the evening.

We've been at Halloween & really enjoyed it, though didn't do the party. we weren't there at the correct time.

Just go prepared for bad weather & hopefully you'll get great weather . The year we went it rained every day & was cold too.
