What is there to do if you are at Disney World over Halloween, but not going to the party at the Magic Kingdom? Are there fun activities anywhere else? We are a family of 5, all over the age of 18.

We went to Fort Wilderness last year. It was amazing. All the campsites were decorated, and there was trick or treating going on. Just a great atmosphere!

Yeah, the resorts tend to see more "special" activities than the parks on 10/31.

Not sure if places like DS do anything special.

We did the MNSSHP last year on Halloween night, but we are going to save the money this year. Can anyone visit Fort Wilderness? Any tips for going there Halloween night?

Guests who are not staying at FW are discouraged from attending events there. A Sheriff is placed outside of the entrance and directs cars away from the campgrounds.

It’s best to partake of activities at your own resort - that’s why most resorts have activities in the pool area - restricted to resort guests.
