Has anyone been to Walt Disney World for Halloween? What can we expect?
We have tickets to the party on Halloween night, do the kids actually "trick or treat" throughout Magic Kingdom?
Any suggestions or info would be appreciated.

Have a Magical Day!

Hello!
We were in WDW for Halloween last year! It was great!
We attended the Boardwalk Halloween party before heading over to MNSSHP.
The BWI party is great- they have activites for kids, music, pictures with Mickey and such. There was no fee and it was open to everyone.

During MNSSHP at the Magic Kingdom you get to watch a special parade, special fireworks and lots of other fun stuff. There are characters everywhere dressed in their costumes as well as lots of people dressed up for the holiday. When entering the MK for the party, everyone will be given a trick-or-treat bag and they have designated areas around the park to trick-or-treat or where they give out candy to children and adults. There were four of us last year and we had sooo much candy - that we left some at the resort b/c we couldn't eat it all..
It will be very fun!

We had a ball during MNSSHP. It is worth the extra $$$. They had the headless horseman riding throgh MK along the parade route. There was plenty of trick or treating for kids and grown ups too. The only thing was that when we went in 03, my kids were a little small and went to bed early. They slept through the last half of the parade. We are going back in 07 during Haloween, and expect to stay pirate: up until park closing. Hope you guys have fun.
