To me all of the seasonal Reese's all taste the same: Delicious! On your don't-bother-trying list should be the really big Reese's cups. The chocolate/pb ratio is way off and the chocolate is too hard because it has to support a bigger area.Autumn mix. I don't eat candy much, so just a few pieces here and there is enough.
Since this is a thread involving food, we might want to move to Defcon 4: I'm expecting an argument to break out over Reeses PB bats vs eggs vs trees between now and Christmas.
I saw those last year, and I think that was the first time I noticed them. Were they a new addition, or have they been around a while?I love the chocolate covered Payday and I found them in snack size at Walmart.
Oh wow. I will have to give that a try. Any peanut preference when doing this, such as dry roasted?Have you mixed candy corn and peanuts? Just like a Payday!
I love the candy coated Cadbury balls. They are the same as the Easter eggs, just in Halloween colors. I also like Milky Way snack size bars, especially the dark chocolate when I can find them and the all caramel variety. I like to have something sour to counteract all the sweet too, like Starburst.
I like the dry roasted! I hate candy corn unless it's like thisOh wow. I will have to give that a try. Any peanut preference when doing this, such as dry roasted?
I thought they were fine. I also get the red and green at Christmas and they were okay as well. I wish they did the dark chocolate ones like they do at Easter. I like the taste of a milk/dark chocolate combo. How are the Cadbury ones this year? I'm a huge fan of the mini eggs, but the Harvest themed ones last year (at least in our area) had a bitter taste from the red dye. It's the only time a bag of Cadbury lasted for weeks in this house.

I think all you need to say is hubby I’d rather have some Fererro Roche they aren’t just for ChristmasMy birthday is late September. Every year My DH gives me a bag of Halloween Reese Cups. For 20+ years I have said no...really, you don't have to...
I don't want to hurt his feelings, but I really dislike them!
Plus, can you tell gift giving is not his love language? Cue - more money for Disney

My daughter just asked me today to look for the candy that went away with Covid in hopes of making a miraculous comeback,Hershey Carmel Apple Chocolates:

I don't think they were ever a "thing" as in insanely popular and flying off the shelves, but dd and dh loved them. When were these a thing?!
Love Payday bars they are probably my favorite followed closely by Almond JoyOne that I enjoy and seems easier to find this time of year is snack size Payday bars.
You mean you can eat a bag of candy corn/pumpkins in a year?My daughter and I allow ourselves one medium size bag of candy corn/pumpkins each year, and that is it. It's the same with Robin Eggs at Easter, we aren't accountable for our consumption if it's within our reach.
