Halloween activities??

Hello to all! I have a quick question. Friends of our will be in the world from Oct. 30 - Nov. 5. They would like to know if there are any Halloween activities at any of the resorts? I have told them about MNSSHP, but it is probably too late for them to get tickets. If anyone has any info, I will pass it along to them.

It might not be too late for your friends to get tix to MNSSHP. The only night the party will be held during their visit is October 31. While I've heard Halloween night sells out I'd guess they might still be calling early enough if they call this month. They can call 407-WDISNEY to ask.

I don't know of any other halloween activities. However, I don't think MNSSHP is sold out on the 31st. My friend just ordered tickets this afternoon and they were still available. If they want to do that, I think they should go ahead and get tickets though. I really can't think of any other activies.

Haunted Hayride at FW--you have to get the tickets the morning of

Campfire program at FW--Chip and Dale are there and I've heard they pass out treats before the movie

and I'd sure try to get tickets for MNSSHP--it's great fun!

In the past there have been some activities in many of the resorts or in Down town Disney. They need to ask for the print out from the front desk of the resort they are in and that will tell them what is being offered. I think I recall that in DTD it was trick or treating only.

I'm not positive but I've read on the boards that the boardwalk area has trick or treating. This will be our first Halloween there!!!! We are doing MNNSHP but a few days before halloween. I'm also looking for activities on Halloween night.

Thanks to everyone for your help!! I told them about MNSSHP, but I'm afraid the price of the tix is going to be too much, since they already have tix for other places (outside of the World!!).and are staying next to Universal. I will certainly pass along this information. Maybe DTD sounds like there best bet.

Pleasure Island has also had Halloween parties including contests over the past few years.

Last year we went resort hopping on the 31st since we were going to the Halloween party at Boardwalk. OKW had a pool party (games) with treats for kids (I hear the main pool in being renovated now) CBR had crafts in the afternoon (I am thinking about 1 or so) and then told us they were having trick or treating in the evening. So we had to go back! They had the best candy and treats! My DD (age 10) loved the big pixie sticks!

I bet some of the other resorts may do something as well.

I haven't been to DTD but the party at the Boardwalk is a lot of fun! Mickey is usually there, too. Crafts, games and a DJ!
