Halloween Activities??

What activities does Disney offer the week/day of Halloween besides MNSSHP? I read somewhere that they do have some trick-or-treating in the parks during the day-is that the day of Halloween only?

We will be attending MNSSHP but not on Halloween so I am looking for something fun and different!

I thought I saw a schedule of deluxe resort activites for Halloween somewhere on the boards, but I cannot find anything now. Thanks in advance!

This year will be the first time we have went in October ! I cant wait to go to the MNSSHP !

First Halloween trip for us also and although the kids will be completely spoiled with a night a MNSSHP during the week I still wanted to do something fun for Halloween! I started making my ADR's this week so I am hunting for a plan for Hallowwen day/night!!

I *think* the only Halloween activities (aside from decorations) are during MNSSHP. No idea on the resort activities (but wouldn't that be cool!).

During our visit to Coronado, there were characters in the main lobby in Halloween costumes giving out candy. Mickey, Minnie and daisy were there

Besides the MNSSHP and the Haunted Carriage Rides, there aren't a lot of activities. Last October I remember we voted on pumpkins for a carving contest at the Boardwalk Inn and that evening there was trick or treating for kids in the lobby at the Contemporary.

Not alot of stuff goings on besides MNSSHP and the Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness( which books up fast).They do not do anything else in any of the parks( though at Animal Kingdom they do have characters in costume at Camp Minnie/Mickey on Halloween only).No other parks do Trick or Treating and DTD stopped its Halloween Trick Or Treating last year.Some of the resorts ( deluxe) do have Halloween activities, that info should be posted closer to Halloween

We too, are going in October, but in the beginning of the month. We are going to the MNSSHP. But I would love to look into the Haunted Hayrides as well. Does anyone know where to find these on the WDW website? I can't seem to find them anywhere!
