Hello

We're hoping to spend 2 weeks ar WDW next October / November, staying at SSR. Just wondering if there were any special acivities on 31st October this year? Or if not at SSR, then at another resort that we could attend? (Think I saw a post about trick / treating at OKW but not sure if it was restricted to OKW guests.)

I'm not planning on MNSSHP as we already have quite a bit of time in MK, and DD6 wouldn't make it to midnight - plus the crowds on Halloween itself put me off. Obviously its months until we need to make plans, but thought I'd ask while this year is still fairly fresh in people's memories!

Thanks,
Sencybil x

I don't recall seeing any really big Halloween day activities at any of the resorts. The staff at some of the resorts had carved pumpkins and the guests could vote on the best one. I think there is some trick-or-treating options as well (I remember seeing it at the CR two years ago), but I don't recall seeing anything major at the BW this year.

Some FW camping guests have trick-or-treat candy available, but it's always a sore subject about non-FW guests going over to trick-or-treat.

POFQ & POR have trick-or treating, a cake walk, a halloween costume contest, and a parade. I don't know if you need to be a guest of either resort to participate.

We stayed at CSR over Halloween this year, they had trick or treating for the kids, the kids were allowed to decorate their own trick or treat bag and they had some other activities as well.

I am sure all the resorts do this, SSR included. In fact, years ago before all the resorts had games, SSR always did and of all the resorts we have stayed at, SSR always did the nicest job with all of that. Its a great resort!

Thanks everyone!

Its our first trip and I'm soooooo excited. Thanks Amy&Dan. So hard to decide where to stay, so love the reassurance that SSR is wonderful!
