Hi everyone! Just curious as to when the best deals come out for Canadians for the Fall? I don't think I've ever been to Disney World in the Fall, but my kids are crazy for Halloween and we thought it would be fun :) Also, by going the week prior to Halloween, would we miss out on anything? We'd likely get party tickets.

Thanks so much!

We have never been in the fall either but are heading down next year with our travel Trailer to stay at Fort Wilderness for the full Halloween experience. We are booked October 27-November 5th. Our plan is to buy the Canadian discount tickets and instead of doing MNSSHP we are doing HHN at Universal. We are traveling with a twelve year old and two sixteen years old so HHN appeals more to them.

That sounds fun! any idea when the discount tickets come out for Canadians? I got that deal for this past May, but I can't remember... Thanks!

Discount tickets are out now. They do have an expiry date this time and the deal isn't as good as it was last year.

Okay, thanks - I thought so. I was looking at the site last night. I am always worried a better deal will come! Thanks :)

For the ticket piece I don't think you will find a better price. However, it is possible that something like free dining will come out and that could make the total price better... I find getting a discount on the room and tickets better for us, we haven't used the dining plan on any of our trips. I'd do the math with "rack rates" and see. There are often room discounts that come out you could apply later, but the ticket deal is only on until sometime in February. I doubt you will see something better come out before it's over.

I intend to buy some tickets, I'm just trying to figure out for how many days and if we can actually plan a trip before they expire. I have two cruises coming up that are eating all my travel budget. I'd like to go in August because we get the best price on the room and kiddo doesn't miss any school. But... perhaps a November-ish trip would be nice so we can do the Christmas party. Or late October for Halloween (we went to two of the parties this past August and really enjoyed it). Any way :)

Good points, thanks! We don't usually go for free dining because we just don't eat enough (our kiddos are still young and can share). I agree - I'll likely get these tickets, book a room and just hope that the room rate goes down between now and then. Fingers crossed :) Have fun deciding!

They have been extending the parties right to end of Aug. So the week before no problem and not missing anything. If you go closer to start of Oct you might have lighter crowds
