Halloween 2012

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you had any idea when Halloween season might be this year, we were there in October 2010 & had an awesome time.

We are currently deciding between an off season September trip or another trip at Halloween time, I remember reading here that Halloween started a little earlier last year than it did previously.

We are currently deciding between an off season September trip or another trip at Halloween time, I remember reading here that Halloween started a little earlier last year than it did previously.

The season moved forward to mid September, which happened to have the 16th on a Friday. This year it may make Friday the 14th.

That is more because of the calendar and how dates fell. Oct 1st was a Saturday so they had the first party on Friday, the usual party day, on the 30of Sept.

This year it's likely the first party will be on the 28th.

Firm dates will probably be out in June for parties when they have release party tickets to sell to AP holders.

You don't happen to have any idea when they might close the Haunted Mansion for the NBC overlay? Our first trip to DL was in Sept in off season & our other trip was Halloween, so we are yet to see the Haunted Mansion in it's natural form

It take about three week to tranform, so HM will close during the end of August. Might be Monday the 27th of August.

Space takes about a week so probably Monday the 10th.
