Halloween 2011. Oct 29th on the Magic

We arrived home last night, a pretty uneventful flight. We had such a great time on the cruise. Getting to meet alot of the folks here in our group was a bonus. The FE exhcange was incredible, we are printing some pictures today to put into the frames that we received. Stevie is sleeping with the Pluto pillow and loves it. We wanted to thank everyone who helped to make this trip so special for Stevie by including us in your group and all of the fun. I will be writing a trip report and posting it eventually.

We are home too - got in around 7 last night. That is one long day - I wore out my 'sitter'! They moved us to the bulkhead on our full flight from MCO to Detroit and my knee was aching before we ever took off. I would have had more room in our original seats. But, two of the three bags are unpacked and the washer and dryer are both humming along. I need to go to the grocery store - right after I get dressed.

Thanks to everyone for the neat FE gifts and the postcards. I went off without mine - laying on the bed where I packed. Don't know what I was thinking and maybe the pain meds from then had kicked in but I am super sorry. If anyone wants one, send me a PM with your address and I will happily send you one.

Hi all:

We got back home around 4pm today.....had a great cruise, it was nice meeting everyone.....am pretty much unpacked, but I am off tomorrow so will start then.....

One thing I have to say, and this is probably my fault......(no one tell Wally I just said that) but we tried to spend the afternoon yesterday at Epcot, the biggest mistake I made.....it was wall to wall people, could barely move...the fast passes were 4pm and later....world showcase could not move....we ate lunch at mexico where we had a adr and left....didnt see or do anything there. Was a waste of a lot of money for one day tickets....

But, all in all I had a wonderful time and cant wait to go again.

DH and I are finally back home after seeing my sister and some old friends in Miami on Saturday and Sunday after the cruise. DH is off to work and I need to unpack now.

It was nice being able to meet some of you and I hope everyone had a great time.

I hope you all liked my pluto pillow and the little pouch... and the guys liked the Bicardi.

Wow! Did I get lots of candy and toys! Thanks! I made my nephew so freaking happy when I got to Miami. He couldn't wait to show his friends. And thanks for the frames, etc. All very cute!

Okay... going off to unpack and get back to real life.

Hi all!

We got back early Saturday afternoon but have been busy unpacking, doing laundry, sleeping, and clearing stuff off of our DVR! We had SUCH a fun cruise and can't wait to get back to the Magic (altho it might be our last time seeing her since she will be leaving PC). Highlights of our cruise were:

* Our fantastic tablemates!
* Nights in sessions
* Buying new Jewelry in St Marten
* Seeing shows in the Walt Disney Theatre (altho we only saw 3)
* Seeing 2 movies in the Buena Vista Theatre
* All the fabulous Halloween costumes!
* Having some "alone" time where my husband and i separated for a few hours and did our own things (I met a bunch of the characters by myself and made him jealous!!)
* Winning adult AND family Magic Quest!
* Playing the ring the bull game (WHY is that so much fun?!)

... and so much more!

We didn't make it to the meet & greet, unfortunately, because we went to the Spa Raffle (where I won a shave for my husband!). We met SO many people during the week though that I wouldn't be surprised if we met some of you. Who else took the detour with us at Virgin Gorda and got bit by fire ants and cut up with brambles?? Was anyone at either of the first 2 martini tastings... we were!

Oh and if you saw the earlier juggling show in the Walt Disney theatre then you saw schimj "hepling" out the juggler by tossing some of his props back up to him.

is anybody still walking around like they are still on the ship...I keep feeling like I'm rocking!!!

I had soo much fun...yes the kids had their moments but it is what it is, I figured one of them would be cranky every day...Miguel just wouldn't take a nap...I think he napped 3 days out of the week...the baby hated the nursery so I cancelled the wed and thurs times....our servers were soo helpful..I ate so much..I can't even eat today. just had coffee..Im thinking about next year and my april cruise and think I might switch it to october again...miguel will be closer to 5 and the baby closer to 3...and most likely potty trained...it should be more fun ..but I haven't made any decisions..if it looks like I don't have a job by January then I will switch the dates...I swear I love Disney...I almost went to DHS after the cruise..but I was tired and the boys slept the whole ride home.


Thank you all again for the postcards...I'm trying to think of a neat way to diplay them..I don't scrap...I just don't have the time or alone time or money to get into that...I do buy decorated boxes and fill them up with all the things I want to remember..I am on my 4th one...lol..

all the things that were edible have been eaten (from FE) and all the things I received are in use...soap/soapdish...pluto pillow *(slept on), frames, magnet frame, all the glow stuff have been glowed out...keychain unfortunately has been lost!!!! somehow it ripped off my keys...don't know how...so MAD!!!!!my son still wants his CANDY BAG (the black tote)...I had to show him he ate all the candy.


anyway..I was going to do a trip report but I might just fill the PRe-TRIP with some pictures later when I get some time. I didn't get off only at Castaway..so there's really not much to discuss that would help other folks out...


things that I am upset that I missed: THE DESSERT BUFFETT~!!!!! I did the seafood buffett. and can't believe I missed the desserts~!!! ugh..

We had a great time, we didnt "do" alot, but we did sit and chill a lot, which I think is what we both needed. Booked another cruise on board so will be going end of 2013 or may hold off till begining of 2014....booked for the Fantasy....looking forward to that, will be spending a few days at Disney before hand, my daughter, son-in-law and grandaughter will be going, most likely will be celebrating her 5th birthday threre....as you can see by my ticker!!

I cant belive its over, have been sitting here printing off pictures, been a 2 hr project, and inbetween doing laundry....went grocery shoping this morning and after dinner, going to watch a little tv then off to bed, back to work tomorrow.

It was such a fun cruise.....
Marisol, your boys are soooo cute, they were adoreable dancing at the promanade the one evening....

We are back too.. Had a great time. Except that I got sick on day 5 and missed semi formal night and my "lobster"!! Sea sick again!! My cabin, even though it was extra roomy(handicap) was in the Aft and really rocking. I was too until this morning.. Glad to have met some of you and loved all the gifts!
I hope everyone liked the Disney coasters I made(with love)!!
Our autographed pillowcases that I made were ruined by a crew member.. I made them with character fabric on one side and white on the other. Showed them the two sides, with 4 sheets of tissue paper inside so the marker would not go through. The signer signed all the characters names on the wrong side!!!!!! The white side was empty!!! When I called guest service and they came to my cabin. they couldn't believe someone did that.. they apologized, but they only could take them and get them resigned on white side!! More work for me, I will take them apart and remake them. they are gifts for my family..
Not sure if cruising is for me, since this was my 4th and 4 times sea sick!!
I go stay at the resorts at least every month, and I love them and the parks!
Christmas is 4 days at Boardwalk! We take our tree and decorations and food to cook for Christmas day dinner.. going to the Candlelight on Christmas ever!!

Hopefully this link will work. My son loves his pillow. The coasters are already in use. The picture frames are going into a collage on our photo wall of all our vacations. There was so many cool items and unfortunately, Stevie generally had them unpack and strewn on the bed before I could see who things were from.

Whew! Just finished the dreaded post-trip laundry!

What a great trip that was! Sorry I didn't get to meet all of you (though I did get to meet Marisol and her boys on Halloween, and I think I said hi to Amanda and Annette on an elevator ). Thank you SO MUCH for all of the amazing FE gifts! I'm so impressed by all your generosity and creativity! The handmade items were so special - the picture frames, soaps, Pluto pillows, beaded keychains, coasters, hair bows, and Minnie ears, Mickey chalkboard - too cute for words! My family loved them! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We're finally "recovering" from the cruise and returning to normal.

I just wanted to thank all the other folks on the FE list. You were all so much more creative than we were and we really love all the gifts we received.

In a few weeks we'll start planning our next Disney adventure.
