Hallmark Movies ❤️ comfort & joy

Tomorrow night on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is a movie titled: The Vows We Keep. It should NOT be confused with the Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie premiering next week, similarly titled: The Vows We Have Made.

Tomorrow night's movie stars Fiona Gubelmann, Antonio Cayonne and soap opera legend, Linda Thorson. The plot seems to be a clone of a Rachael Leigh Cook & Benjamin Ayres movie, A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas.

"Hazel is a hard-working event planner who returns to the small town to organize a dream wedding for her sister. There is not much time left before the ceremony. In the meantime, Hazel finds out that the historic community venue Rosewood Inn, where her parents got hitched, is being sold. Simone’s family has cared for the place for four generations, but now they have to let go of the property.

With that discovery, Hazel goes to Jared, the man entrusted with selling the house, to squeeze out a deal and keep the wedding on track."

Been doing more research: :surfweb:

Quite a while back someone here posted she is able to get all 3 Hallmark Channels via streaming on FrndlyTV.com (not a typo) or the Frndly app (then cast/mirror to TV) for only $5.99 /per month.

https://try.frndlytv.com/

Turns out a LOT of Hallmark fans are streaming the Hallmark channels that way, along with Hallmark Now, and are quite happy with the service. :thumbsup2

There is a rumor (only) right now, that FrndlyTV may be getting GAC Family in mid-Oct, or thereabouts.

I'll keep my eyes open for any news. :magnify: If anyone who has FrndlyTV gets word, PLEASE do post it for us. :grouphug:

If you are thinking of subscribing to the Hallmark Movies Now app instead, NOTE: Hallmark Movies Now shows only the older movies, no live Hallmark TV content. It would be better to subscribe to the FrndlyTV and get the 3 Hallmark channels, Hallmark Now and get the other 17 channels they have:

Thank you, Imzadi for that great list!

ITA with everyone who has posted that is also (I sure am not) a fan of so many channels these days it seems, having a spin off channel that has to be separately paid for. Doesn't seem right or fair especially for series of shoes (or movies) that were always fee (well with the channel) to all.

I watch on Frndly. Will keep and eye out.

I watched the first two SSD episodes last night and this morning, and really enjoyed them. (I was absolutely in tears - the good kind - near the end of episode 2!)

I can see what what said here quite a while back about the character development, too. 😉

New interview with Kristin Booth who plays Shane in Signed, Sealed, Delivered:

Remember quite a while back I mentioned that Signed, Sealed, Delivered wasn't being shown on Hallmark channels, because they were instead showing it on the Hallmark Movies Now app, to try to get people over there to pay for that app?

I found out that due to not enough people watching SSD over the last few years, not a lot of people have "Liked" the SSD TV series or the movies on the Hallmark website.

There is no need to sign up or register to "Like" the web pages. :thumbsup2

The Signed, Sealed, Delivered homepage is only at 1655 "Likes". Some of the SSD movies only have 430 likes.

In comparison, (at the time someone posted this):
The Hallmark home page of Chesapeake Shores has over 6,104 likes.
• The Hallmark home page of When Calls the Heart has over 17,000 likes.
• The Hallmark home page of The Good Witch has about 7,832 likes.
• The Hallmark home page of Home & Family (no longer in production, status pending on GAC Family channel) has over 20,000 likes.

Because Hallmark got a new CEO and other heads in charge back in January, the Hallmark networks are kind of in an upheaval. We've seen already that the movies are different. They got rid of the mystery series on Sunday nights on HM&M and replaced them with just regular movies. Both channels are showing a lot of new movies with complete unknowns, and the quality of those movies are many times not that good as before.

In interviews, Eric Mabius (Oliver O'Toole in SSD,) and Jesse Metcalfe have each said that the future of their series, whether those will continue, is unknown at this point. It will be up to the new powers that be to decide. (Although, I think Jesse is safe. They've showed A Country Wedding so many times, on BOTH channels - which doesn't happen for most movies - they usually only air on the network they premiered on, I think they are trying to indicate to him that they want him on the networks.)

In an effort to try to show to the new powers that be that Signed, Sealed, Delivered truly does have enough fans and we want to see more SSD movies, there is a fan based campaign to boost the "Likes" on the SSD pages on the Hallmark website. :grouphug:

If you love Signed, Sealed, Delivered as much as I do, help boost the "Likes" on their web pages. There's actually several SSD pages around the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries website as each movie also has its own page as well! :surfweb:

You can actually "Like" any page again 24 hours-ish later.
The "Like" disappears. So, if you guys are inclined to keep re-Liking pages, that also boosts the "Like" counts. Like as many or as few as you want.

Someone already compiled the links to make them easy to click on.

You want to look for this heart in the upper right part of the webpage:

Click on it so the heart fills in to "Like" it.

Done! :woohoo:

If you miss the movie it re-airs two more times, then it is gone until some time next year:

.

It has been confirmed:

The two GAC channels which were acquired by the former CEO of Hallmark: GAC Family and GAC Living are being added to the Frndly TV streaming service on Oct 19. It will still be the same price of $5.99 for the those 2 channels, the 3 Hallmark channels, and several more family friendly TV channels.

https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/frndly-tv-will-add-gac-channels-on-october-19. . .

GAC Family will have family-friendly, holiday-themed movies and series. GAC unofficially stands for "Great American Christmas." Several of the long-time Hallmark stars are doing movies for GAC.

GAC Lifestyle is an unscripted companion network that celebrates family friendly traditions. It was announced yesterday that the whole cast of the Home & Family TV show, hosted by Cameron Mathison and Debbie Matenopoulos are moving to GAC Living:

Are you guys aware that the two stars of Love Blossoms: Victor Webster & Shantel VanSanten met on that movie for the first time, fell in love in real life and got engaged this past February!

image

From People.com
"The actress, 35, got engaged to boyfriend Victor Webster on Feb. 9. The pair dated for four years after first meeting on the set of a Hallmark movie, Love Blossoms, in 2017. Now, they're ready to "begin forever."

Victor Webster and Shantel VanSanten had their wedding last weekend. (Erin Cahill posted that she attended).

(Not their wedding photo.)
Looks like they have a great time being goofy together.

Yet, are there for each other during the dark, painful times of life, when it really counts. :thumbsup2

Thoughts on last night's Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made from last night?

Thoughts on last night's Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made from last night?

DVR'd it and will likely watch tonight or tomorrow morning.

I did also finally catch the original movie this week, so it's nice to be "all caught up" going into this one!

For some need a little Christmas,
Right this very minute,

Candles in the window,
Carols at the spinet,

Yes, some need a little Christmas NOW! 🎺

🎄 The Hallmark Christmas movies have started on BOTH Hallmark & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channels. :santa: 🦌

If you want to start watching Christmas movies now, go for it! ❤ The first new Christmas movie starts tonight.

If you aren't ready yet, that's fine too. :thumbsup2 Plenty of other things to watch. The Fall TV season has barely started. And there is still this day 🎃 coming up. All new Christmas movies repeat throughout the season.

Scrooges & Grinches: Start your OWN threads to dump your lack of Christmas spirit elsewhere.

For those who are touched by a angel fans there was a movie on hallmark with that same plot point but can’t remember it

Kicking off Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas is Danica McKeller in You, Me & The Christmas Trees. She plays an expert on evergreens who, just days before the holiday, agrees to help Jack, (Benjamin Ayres) a fourth generation Christmas tree farmer in Avon. A mysterious illness has befallen their firs, causing them to die out and threatening his family’s 100-year business.

Danica's fellow co-star from The Wonder Years, Jason Hervey, (who played Kevin Arnold's older brother,) joins her in this movie.

On Location interviews & preview:

I'm so happy to be DVR-ing Christmas movies again! I look forward to chatting about them with all of you again 🎄 Imzadi, that's one of the movies up for recording! I have several for this weekend and a lot for next week on both Hallmark and HM&M. This time of year I am so grateful to both channels for providing different movie choices for us to enjoy.
