Hallmark E-card Subscription

Hi all, and Happy Holidays. There is a 10% coupon on the Hallmark website it expires on 12/26 so this is budget related. (Although I am not real worried about saving the $1.00).

Has anyone purchased this subscription? Had any complaints from recipients?

My husband and I are considering this for Christmas next year, not really for budget reasons (we did spend more than $50 on just stamps) but more for environmental reasons. Really who does anything other then throw out or maybe recycle our cards. Now we know for the seniors on our list and a few technology hold outs we would still need to send a paper card (which is good because we have a couple of boxes); but for most people I think this would be a winner.

Please share your thoughts.......

Last year I used Hallmark's smilebox application (free at that time) to create and email our holiday cards and it was really nice. Very easy, great looking cards...got lots of compliments on them. And, I didn't have to pay postage or think about them getting tossed after xmas. I was lazy and didn't do cards this year, but if the program is similar to what I used last year...then I'd say it's worth it.

I have the Hallmark E-card subscription and have used it enough to justify the $10 yearly fee. I like to send e-cards for birthdays, etc. and this beats buying a card, plus stamps. I think the normal fee is 99 cents on the Hallmark site unless you purchase the yearly subscription.

It is great also because my son and his fiance live overseas and I can use this to easily send cards to them. I used the Smilebox for free this Christmas and send out a few to family with pics of the grandchildren.
