Hallmark has released info on their upcoming Christmas schedule early, because as usual, they are starting their new Christmas movies the week before Halloween:
Oct 21st.
This year, there will be
40 new Hallmark Christmas movies. As usual, there will be new Christmas movies Fri, Sat & Sun on the Hallmark Channel, (31 movies total.) Only one new Christmas movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries each weekend, (9 movies total.)
(I'll post the Christmas Movies schedules when we get closer to the movies starting.)
Some upcoming highlights:
Three Hallmark leading men: Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell will star together in one movie, “Three Wise Men and a Baby,” playing three brothers forced to work together to take care of a baby throughout the holidays.
The Christmas schedule includes a lot of fan favorites, including two new movies starring Tyler Hynes, two movies starring Andrew Walker. (Not sure if the second movie is the one above, where three leading men star together in a movie.)
Lacey Chabert returns for a record-breaking twelfth Christmas movie, “Haul Out the Holly,” alongside Wes Brown.
There is also a sequel to “Five More Minutes.”
The schedule includes a lot of new stuff:
Hallmark Mahogany will be one of the HM&M movies with “The Holiday Stocking,” starring Nadine Ellis, Tamala Jones, BJ Britt, Karon Riley and Mykelti Williamson.
Another Hallmark Card brand:
DaySpring, will have it's first movie, “The Gift of Peace,” starring Nikki DeLoach and Brennan Elliott. (Hallmark is actually expanding their
multiple brands plus NEW brands into the movies.

More on that another time.)
Hallmark will celebrate Chinese Americans in two films, “A Big Fat Family Christmas” and “Christmas at the Golden Dragon.” Meanwhile, the Festival of Lights will be celebrated in “Hanukkah on Rye,” while “Holiday Heritage” is the network’s first-ever movie celebrating Kwanzaa.
For the first time, a Hallmark holiday movie features an LGBTQ couple as the focus in “The Holiday Sitter,” featuring Jonathan Bennett and George Krissa.
Blake Shelton, who executive produced a series of movies based on his song “Time for Me to Come Home" will get another installment, called “Time for
Him to Come Home for Christmas.” Singer-songwriter Tenille Townes stars in it.
(What happens when the series runs out of pronouns?

)
Hallmark likes having top musical artists involved with Hallmark movies so much that this year there will be many more:
The movie, “When I Think of Christmas” features the song of the same name co-written by Amy Grant, Matt Maher and Jason Ingram.
R&B and jazz singer, Ledisi, will star in “All Saints Christmas,” performing her original song “Home on Christmas” as well as “Be There for Christmas” in the movie.
Singer, Lisa Loeb makes a cameo in “Hanukkah on Rye,” which features her hit song “Light”.
Violinist, songwriter, and dancer Lindsay Stirling appears in “A Fabled Holiday” and performs “Joy to the World” off her upcoming Christmas album.
