I'm watching Sweeter than Chocolate and I'm enjoying it.
On a funny note, I recognized the actress (Brenda Strong) who plays the mother, but I couldn't remember from where. A quick Google and I had the answer.
She was Sue Ellen Mischke on Seinfeld.

This Sunday there will be no new episode of The Way Home. Hallmark wants to give people a chance to catch up on the series, especially if you've missed some or all of the episodes.

Hallmark is showing a marathon of all 4 episodes:
The Way Home, episode 1 is at 6pm ET
The Way Home, episode 2 is at 7pm ET
The Way Home, episode 3 is at 8pm ET
The Way Home, episode 4 is at 9pm ET

Remember how the Hallmark Channel Kitten Bowl got canceled last year as the new CEO didn't want to do it?

GA Family took it, renamed it, and is having the Great American Rescue Bowl from 10:30 - 12pm ET. (Repeats at 4pm ET.)

The Great American Rescue Bowl is a pet-filled gridiron throw down of pets looking for their fur-ever homes. Featuring both adult dogs and cats as well as kittens and puppies, the two-hour counter-programming to the Super Bowl showcases these adoptable felines and canines as they play on a football-themed stage.

Right after at noon (ET), is To The Rescue Pup-a-thon 2023.

Great American Family and the producers of the hit animal series, “To The Rescue,” are teaming up to raise money for animal rescue organizations via Forever Family Rescue Foundation, with its first annual “To The Rescue Pup-A-Thon 2023.” The event will be broadcast live nationally from Los Angeles on Great American Family from 12 P.M.-4 P.M. ET / 9 A.M.-1 P.M. PT

I realized last night that the first four episodes of The Way Home are On Demand. Thank you again, Imzadi for posting about the airings which had me do a search. I wanted to share this in hope it just might be handy for some of you, too. I will check out the first episode sometime this weekend and will share how I enjoy it.

Curious Caterer: Grilling Season, (movie #2)

Starring: Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker.
Description: Professional caterer Goldy Berry and detective Tom Schultz are back!

They reunite when a realtor is murdered.

Goldy throws a lavish barbecue event for her childhood friend, acclaimed realtor Susie Craig. Later that night, she is shocked to discover that after the event concluded, Susie's grill exploded and killed her. Goldy's professional reputation is put under fire when people realize that she was the last one to use the grill.

On a mission to clear her name, Goldy teams up once again with detective Tom Schultz to figure out who was behind this mysterious explosion. As they weed through manipulative party guests, heated gossip, and dark secrets, the suspect list grows with familiar names, ranging from business partners to ex-spouses. This new HM&M mystery series is based on the mystery novel series, nicknamed the "Goldy Culinary Mysteries" by Diane Mott Davidson. The movie Grilling Season is loosely based on Book 7 in the series.

For those of you who may have been wondering if, since HM&M now has Nikki DeLoach's food Catering mystery series, will they cancel Alison Sweeney's Hannah Swensen series?

Nope! Alison is now busy prepping to film Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.

Hallmark has filmed other movies in Bulgaria: The Wedding Veil Unveiled (#2) when Autumn & Paolo were supposed to be in Italy at times. Her Pen Pal, and Paris, Wine & Romance, both of which was also set in Paris, and did mostly film in Paris.

According to this article, Bulgaria Is the New ‘It’ Location for Hollywood Productions. Blockbuster movies such as: 300: Rise of an Empire, The Expendables, and Rambo V also filmed there.

Why Bulgaria?

Do you guys remember this Hallmark movie from 2 Christmases ago called The Christmas Promise starring Torrey DeVitto, Dylan Bruce & Patrick Duffy?

This is what I wrote about it back then:

"It's a story we've seen before. The female lead has lost her fiance due to death, along with the future they had planned together. But because of something her Dad (Patrick Duffy) said, she happens to start texting to her dead fiance's phone number and a mysterious stranger on the other end of the phone answers back."​

Interestingly, on Mother's Day, Sony Pictures is coming out with a movie with the SAME plot! Only Priyanka Chopra is the woman who starts texting to her dead boyfriend's phone number. And the guy who happens to get her texts on his newly re-assigned phone number is Sam Heughan (of A Princess for Christmas and Outlander.) Celine Dion also stars in the movie and is coming out with new music in the film.
