Hallelujah!!!!

It's scary....Leonard, and Sheldon and company remind me of the guys in all of my college classes....(Engineering)!

So that just makes it funnier for me!

K

Me too! My first degree was in engineering and I was surrounded by enginerds. Of course I was probably one of the nerds, too... but I've never seen Star Trek, so maybe not!

Rock! Paper! Scissors! Lizard! Spock! :rotfl:

While we have several "favorite" episodes.....I actually bought an episode from Season 1.

During it;s first year, the ratings were not that great and I was afraid that this show would disappear forever.

Word of mouth has prevailed again and the show is now a hit.

If you want to laugh.....get "The Luminous Fish Effect" from Season 1.

It's the first episode where we get to see Laurie Metcalf as Sheldon's Mom.

This episode lives on my iPod

Not to inappropriately plug anything here but, FYI, a certain large retailer that uses a red bulls-eye for marketing had the first season for $15. The only problem with buying the whole season on DVD is that it is not healthy to watch too many episodes all in one sitting. You might pull something.

This is my favorite show! Props to Kevin for telling me about it a year or so ago. I haven't watched this weeks episode yet, but its waiting for me on my TIVO. How I met your Mother is great also, btw

I've been a fan since the first episode and couldn't get my family interested. Now everyone loves it. I really looked forward to last night's premier and it didn't disappoint. Loved it. It's one of the few shows on these days that is unique, really funny, and very creative. I may just have to invest. I'd love to see some of the 1st season again.

I was afraid it would disappear too , it almost seems to smart for basic network TV ! With so much mindless TV it is nice to have a show like this to enjoy :thumbsup2

Tell me you wouldn't buy a fish night light.....brilliant.

There is always at least one line per episode that makes me laugh out loud. Jim Parsons should have won the Emmy....just sayin'.

I agree, Kevin! Hallelujah it's back!

Jim Parsons was totally robbed at the emmys!

We are getting the season 1 DVDs from Netflix and watching them. I could watch every episode over & over - there's not a bad one in the bunch!

I haven't watched last night's episode yet. Will have to do that later this evening.

"I prefer to let George Lucas dissappoint me
in the order he intended."

That gets said often at our house.

I married a programmer & we are raising a geek princess with Animal & Water Fairy talents.

I missed it last night due to a not so nice reaction to the meds the doc gave me. My Tivo caught it though. I am planning on watching it tonight. I love this show! :)

Waaa! I totally MISSED IT! And NO Tivo! My husband came in this morning saying someone on the radio was talking about a Rock, Paper, Scissors, Spock T-shirt and it hit me! Is there somewhere you can get NEW episodes?

Love the show....I definitely think it got funnier towards the end of Season 1 and took off from there. I think they started to get Sheldon more involved, and thus, much funnier!

BTW...my favorite episode, by far is "I have Leonard Nimoy's DNA!!!"

I've never seen it. Is it a sit-com or an hour long show? Do you need to see season one for new episodes to make sense? It's sounds funny.

I started watching midway through the second season (sometime after the Nimoy napkin episode but before (I think) "Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock"). It is not something you have to watch from the start to make sense. If you know (or knew) any super-geeks or nerds you'll probably find it hilarious.

There are a good number of references to what happened in past episodes, this weeks was a good example but it was the season premier; not so many that you feel you missed the humor.

Okay, so I watched it last night on my TIVO and nearly died at the Toy Story reference! ROFL! :)

It's my favorite sitcom, too. I am so glad that Leonard finally "caught a break" even if it was "weird". :)
