I thought it odd that as you walk out of Hall of Presidents (very great show) and head over to the gift shop, it is filled with Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise. Just a tiny bit of the store is now devoted to presidential and US history stuff. The people we were with also felt it odd that after coming out of such a wonderfully patriotic show that first thing you see is Jack Skellington and all the black merchandise.

In the store we also found a book titled, "Zombie High Yearbook, '64", which was actually funny, just a weird place to have it.

Why wouldn't all that stuff be over at the Haunted Mansion? Or is it close enough so let's put it there?

What about William Henry "I died in 30 days" Harrison? That could be a black shirt.

What Disney really needed to do during this remodel of the Fantasyland skyway station is to make the back half of the new area a Haunted Mansion gift shop. It's unconcionable that all they have is one small cart by the candle store. Move the NBC stuff out of the HoP gift area and move it and an expanded selection of HM stuff into its own store next to the candle shop, or get rid of the candle shop. Who needs a candle when it is 100 degrees out!?

AGREED!!:thumbsup2 And you get points for using the word unconcionable!

I agree...I've always thought it odd that the Haunted Mansion didn't have it's own giftshop...and that cart never really had much to look at.

I agree! Hm could definitely use a gift shop - not often 'guest demand' is for another gift shop! Dh is dying for a license plate he saw online "my other car is a doom buggy" but we never found it in the parks.
