Has anyone been to AP lately? I had the halibut there at the end of November and finally found an entree I loved at AP. The restaurant has long been a favorite of everyone else in my family.

Anyway, halibut is not listed on the latest menu on Allears. Anyone with recent experience? I know online menus are sometimes incomplete.

TIA.

we were there last week and i don't recall seeing the halibut. also, the chef's 3 course selection meal is no longer available.

Thanks for the quick reply even though it's bad news for me!

I think I read that the Halibut is off the menu's due to over fishing.

I apologize ahead of time, but I just have to be the silly, immature one to put "just for the halibut" in this post. I immediately heard the Muppets line in my head when I read the thread title and got the giggles. Again - I apologize, I just had to share my silliness.

And indeed I made a reservation at AP "just for the halibut.":goodvibes

Oh, well.

Halibut is still listed on JIKO's menu. Best halibut I ever ate and I sure hope it's still there in September.

Halibut is a seasonal fish, it is not available year round. Usually may through november you'll see it. Hardly a reason to cancel a ressie, they do lots of great food at AP.

Thanks for the explanation. I was having fun with sunny's response. My family agrees with you about AP. We've dined there many times since it opened and it's a favorite of everyone else as I said.
