Half way point between Lancaster, PA and Waynesburg, PA

Me and a friend are looking to try and meet up with another friend halfway between Lancaster, PA and Waynesburg, PA. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might me a good spot. We just want to meet up with her and have lunch and maybe do something fun with with her 2 kids. Ideally it would be close to the PA turnpike we could even take the route through MD.

Breezewood is Probably about halfway and right on the Turnpike...Has a lot of chain Restaurants

I have done that already, the problem is I am not familiar with any of the towns so I don't know what is there and if there is anything ineresting to do.

When I first moved to MD and had to find a halfway point between me and DD's dad I used the map to find a general area then looked up informaiton about it. We now have our 1/2 way point.

Go to this page and put in the two cities. The map will give you a midpoint. Once you have that you can choose a category from the dropdown on the right, like restaurants, and click search. You will get restaurants near the midway point of the route between the cities. You can then click on the links for the restaurants and get reviews and other information.
