Thought this might make you smile. Picture the scene ...
I'm sitting feet up with a cup of tea and DVD on this afternoon when DS starts screaming like I've never heard him before. I go dashing up to him taking the stairs two at a time and thinking whether i should call an ambulance or put him in my car and drive him to hospital myself (screaming like this can only be for broken leg or worse)
I get to his room to find him running round in circles holding his bottom whilst DD is literally rolling on the floor laughing at him
Eventually when I can get any sense out of them it turns out that earlier in the day DS had accidentally swallowed a piece of bubble gum. Knowing how much I hate the stuff anyway he didn't want to tell me but after worrying about it for a while decided to ask DD what happens if you happen to swallow some. She told him that he would live but not to go breaking wind for a few days as there was a strong possibility that if he did a huge pink bubble would emerge from his bottom
Aren't kids cruel. Funny but cruel. I have put him right on the matter, but can't stop laughing
