Half Marathon - May need to cancel question

Hi, I have friends who may not be able to run the half marathon. I thought I read somewhere that the fee would be transfered to 2008, but now that I reread everything, I see that the fee is not able to be transfered. Is there anyway that the fee cound be transfered to next year.

If you cancel by the date listed in the program, your registration is guaranteed for the 2008 race, but your fee does not transfer. So, they will have a spot, BUT they will have to pay again. This has been their policy for many years and from what I understand is pretty standard among large road races.

I wanted to second that, your fee does not transfer (we've gone through this). They will only transfer your spot for next year, but you have to pay again.

One more addendum. Even in situations where health problems and emergencies kept you from the race, they still wil not transfer the fee.

Guess you'll just haev to eb there with us!
