Half Day Tickets

I thought I'd read about half-day Universal tickets, but I can't seem to find the information. I'm wondering if it was maybe something Unverisal was considering rather than something they currently offer. A half-day ticket would work perfectly for our upcoming trip, does anyone have any information?

There are convention half day tickets but I'm not sure if they are available to everyone or just convention goers.

According to Guest Services, the convention tickets are not advertised but are available to anyone...not just convention goers.

The half-day tickets were discontinued to the general public on Nov. 8th.

Now see? Just as I was warming up to the idea of these tickets being available they take them off. DOH!
