Hi

On our first day we should arrive and be checked and ready to hit the parks by about 13:00 or 14:00.

What rides, shows, attractions do you guys and girls suggest hitting on a Sunday afternoon / evening. DLP doesn't close untill 20:00 and WDS at 19:00, we need to deffo do Pirates once or twice as it will be closed for the rest of our week, so that's got to be our first stop.

Advice as ever greatly appreciated.

If you really want to do any of the FP rides I would grap an FP if there are any left before you head over to pirates.

Maybe also check if theres any restaurants or shows etc only available at weekends seeing as you arrive on a Sun.

Might be nice to take your afternoon slightly slower to give you plenty of time to soak up the magic - I guess this depends how long you're staying for though.

If you're there in a group, check what each would most like to do and see if you can fit in everyones favourite bits. Then just see how much time you have left.

:) Just a few ideas.

Good tip about the shows - when we went that Sunday was the only chance to see Winnie the Pooh, which DS(then 4) was desperate to see:thumbsup2

if its in November that you are going i would watch fantillusion night parade it starts on the 10th but from what i can see in november it is only on friday saturday and sundays so sunday evening might be the only chance you get to see it hope this helps,i am guessing you are arriving on sunday the 18th of november since pirates closes on the 19th your so lucky it will be closed for the whole of our trip.....i am so jealous its one of our kids favourite rides they will be so dissapointed

if we arrive about this time, which we usually do, we usually just take it slow and soak up the atmosphere, go on our favourite rides, people watch, have a look round the shops and try to get used to the fact that we're back!!

might be a nice idea to stop off for a pre- or post-park drink in fantasia bar in the disneyland hotel?

Thank you very much everyone.

I think it's looking like Pirates once or twice or as many times as youngest niece insists on as she is pirate mad!! pirate:

Then whatever has the smallest queues, or any shows available or just chill out have a glass of something and take in the disney magic.

The Fantillusion - good spot - as like you say it is only on Fri, Sat, Sun, we are staying Sunday till Saturday so will catch it again on the Friday night before we leave Saturday lunch.

Thanks again for your help.

Regards (excited) Crim

no reservations need for any of the hotel bars :) restaurants yes (probably not for cheyenne or santa fe however)

hope this helps - dont miss the redwood bar in sequoia lodge, it will be absolutely FAB at xmas time!!

Thanks Wendy

The Seqoila is deffinately on the list as we have heard how fantastic the bar is at Christmas and quite fancy a drink or two by the open fire.
