I've been selling a lot on half.com and I love the service. I've sold 16 books this month alone. Sometimes their shipping allowance is a little bit over actual cost. Other times it is a little under actual cost. It generally balances out. I just sold a book on Friday, though, and when I went to ship it today, I found that the actual postage (Media Mail rate) was $2.00 more than what half.com allowed. I don't mind a few cents here or there but $2.00 is a big difference.
My question is if there is any recourse for the seller when that happens. Can I contact half.com and ask for additional money toward shipping? Will it do any good?
