half board

im going for three nights in dec and was thinking of doing the half board option eating in santa fe the first night then annettes dinner but was a bit stuck for the third meal what would be a good choice and is it possible to use my vouchers in pizza planet?

I purchased the half board when i booked last week for my holiday in July and I'm regretting it now. I have looked at the menus and prices and theres very few restaurants that will be saving us money! and thats only if we were going to have 3 courses anyway. Very annoyed now. I had a quick look when I was booking, figured it wasn't worth it and then chatted to a couple of people who had gone and they said it was definitely worth it so I thought I must be missing something. It cost me £80 per day (for 2 adults, 2children) - did I overpay or something?

Anyway, someone else can clarify but my advice is don't bother with the half board vouchers. Hope this helps

The half board doesn't seem to be as good value as it once was. It used to be that you could save around 15% but due to the falling € they aren't great but can be useful if you want to budget your meals before you go by paying up front.

In reference to Pizza Planet I don't think you can use them there. Just looked on another site & its not one of the listed restaurants

I,m firmly in the "half board vouchers save you no money" camp I'm afraid - if you want to budget for your meals in advance put the money you'd have paid for half board on a prepay travel/credit card, and use that at DLP. That way you have complete freedom over where you eat and how much you pay for it.

We bought "Half Board Plus" vouchers before we went, purely so that we had already paid for one meal a day - spread the cost well . I agree with the other posters though, it didn't actually save us any money.
