Half-Board Vouchers

I have read somewhere about half board vouchers and they seem a thrifty way to eat out at DLP.

I was wondering whether anyone could tell me if there would be any restrictions as to what 'menu' you can choose once you arrive at the restaurant? For example, at the Blue Lagoon... would you have the choice between the Buccaneers Menu (28 Euros) and the Sea Treasures Menu (39 Euros)? Or would you have to go for the cheaper menu due to the value of the vouchers?

You would eat to the value of your voucher so if you had HBplus you would eat form the Buccaneers Menu however if your wanted to eat of off any of the others menus that you can do so but it would mean you would use the voucher for face value (normally about 25 euros for HBPlus)and pay the extra but the sugguested menus are the menu which offers the best value for money and where you would save you the 15% as advertised.
