Haley, Jake and the CL issue

Ok, so I went to read Yavn Speaks (and then saw it posted here, complete
with pics, woot!), and I noticed Haley and Jake were discussing becoming
a Community Leader.

Apparently Jake wants to be a leader. Haley is telling Jake that they aren't
accepting new leaders now. That wasn't news to most of us who keep up
with these things.

What I found interesting was that Haley prompted Jake to keep an eye on
the Newsletter, because there are going to be those "upcoming changes"
we've heard about vaguely.

I wonder if we'll get some new info soon.

Well it says to check the newsletter soon but really we know what soon can mean. I would like to know what changes are suppose to be happening with the program and what they will do with those that are CLs right now. I'm sure there are those that still need to be weeded out.

I'm really looking forward to the new changes in the program. I have wanted to be a CL for a while, but never for the popularity or "status symbol", as people often describe it. I was around when they were accepting, but I never knew about the program, .

This may sound weird, but I actually go places and ask if people need help. I WANT questions from players. I WANT to be a role model for the newer players. I have no desire to be popular, and don't care about the endless questions and friend requests.

Anyone else feel the same way?

omg i do!! i always tell ppl answers when they ask sometimes i wait in the esplenade and give new players free items and tours but ive been banned once so i dont think ill be able to be a cl

well yavn said he will only be updating the yavn speaks like once a month so "soon" might not be quite so soon LOL.

I am really intrigued to see that whole topic play itself out.
