Halal Meat?

In the UK over the last few years most chain restaurants have quietly changed all their meat to Halal meat, I'm not sure iif this practice has travelled across the atlantic.

Is the meat in WDW normal or Halal?

is very localized. You would have no problem finding Halal meat in New York, Dearborn, MI or Nashville, TN. I know of a couple of restaurants in my area and we have a shop that sources halal goat in my burb.

I suggest you send an email to Disney asking your question. This would achieve two things; 1) if the meat is available they will know and 2) it let's Disney know there is a demand.

Halal meat is meat taken from an animal that isn't stunned before it is killed and is killed by a blade to the throat whilst a prayer is said to Allah.

I was actually asking because i try to avoid the meat myself, so the fact that Disney meat isn't Halal is good news.

Good for you!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to do the vegetarian thing, for 6 months I tried, and it was so hard. It's not that I'm against eating meat, I'm against the way animals are treated.

To add or maybe cause more issues its similar to kosher meat.
