Welcome Stacey! Nice to have you here - now I'm not the newbie! :rotfl2:

Rick - good luck this weekend - I KNOW you'll be AWESOME!!!!! and for such a great cause too!

Motomike - I agree with Dave, sounds like you should rest - especially if you have two 1/2's next weekend! just enjoy boston - one of my fave cities!

I celebrated my 100 miles by getting my free new shoes I won yesterday. I  them! they are so comfy! and I celebrated that by not running today:confused3 I wanted to, but had to get to work early early instead (taking a little break:rolleyes1) but if I don't take off anymore weekdays, it could be another 100 mile month - we'll see!

everyone have a wonderful weekend!

Stacey: Welcome!

Rick: Congratulations to you and Christi!

Lynn: Please share your muffin recipe. It is great to have options.

Kipp: How are you feeling about the training now?

Dave: Glad that you are fully recovered. I agree with what you told Mike. I should not have run the Princess and I ended up in PT for that mistake.

Mike: Nothing wrong with listening to your body and having a DNS. Let us know what you decide.

Vicky: Were you able to get in a run or did sleep win? Sounds like you were busy this week!

AFM: I had a nightmare that I missed the start of a race. I ran to try to catch up with the pack but never could. I feel like I've already run this morning because I woke up breathing heavy and covered in sweat! Perhaps I should cut down on all the marathon podcasts that I've been listening to in the evening.;)

Happy Friday, everyone!

Oh we posted at the same time. I had a race nightmare where I got lost on the course and ended up in a mall :confused3

Good Morning Team!

Dave - Good luck with the training!

Kim - Hi Kim!

Stacey - Welcome to the team!

Mike - Glad you are enjoying your vacation. None of us go into races trained - just take care of the ankle, we do not want to hear about more training injuries!!!! Good luck to both of you on the races!

Rick - Good luck to you this weekend.

Kimberly - What kind of shoes did you get?

Elizabeth - I will go find the recipe for you.

AFM - Got in a 22 mile bike ride yesterday, planning to ride bikes into town today for a bank lunch BBQ, unless the wind picks up more, pretty breezy right now. We are headed to Colorado for a bike ride on Sunday, we both signed up for the 34 mile route.

Pixie dust to all who are in need!

Have a great day team!

Just came back to post because I forgot to wish Rick well this weekend and saw that I was posting at the same time as Kimberly and Kim.

Kimberly: What kind of shoes? Are they minimalist? I'm looking for a new kind because I haven't been happy with my Asics model for over a year now. I'm inspired by your goal; I may try something like that.

Rick: Have fun this weekend and good luck with all the walking!

Kim: Glad to see that I'm not the only one with the running dreams.:) Is your next Disney trip in January? How long do you plan to stay?

Lynn: Thanks for the recipe. Enjoy the weekend in Colorado.

Once again, Happy Friday!

Hi team! Keep posting here for the time being. I won't have time to set up the new thread until tonight. Sorry about that

Hi All! Thank you for all the welcomes!!

I do promise to check in - and post - regularly! If I don't, I know Kim will hunt me down :rolleyes1

Dave, :yay: it's me!

Rick - Have a great walk this weekend! I'm going to check out your blog.

It's been a while on posting, and I totally stink on remembering names, please be patient with me!

The MA vacation sounds awesome, Happy anniversary.

Awesome on the new shoes to celebrate 100 miles! What kind?

Yikes on the dream - I'm not looking forward to them (I've had them in the past too).

Lynn - WTG on the biking!

LOL on not being the newbie. I'm ok with it! :goodvibes

A little on me: I'm from NY (originally Jersey, but moved to NY with hubby) and have one cool DD who will be 10 in August. I started my weightloss journey back in Dec '04, was doing great, and then started the C25K in '06. I then found Disney Races, and signed up for the Marathon in '08 (I think?) I got to mile 18 and was cut off. Then I did the Minnie 15k, and got my bling. Followed by the Half in '09, and the Princess. Completed the SpaceCoast half later that same year (time was awful, but it was done) and attempted the full in '10. Really undertrained, bad weather, and screaming hip pain - got just past the halfway point and found myself once again on the bus! So... made myself a promise that for the 20th anniversary, I would make the 3rd time a charm and get that Mickey Medal once and for all! So I'm on a mission to shed some unwanted pounds, and get back into shape, so that I can start Marathon training come August! I will succeed this time, and appreciate the kick in the pants and encouragement for you all!

Happy Friday all!

Stacey, your little one is a cute kid, I have been following your posts on facebook so I'm all the stuff she has accomplished.

I'll be there doing the marathon with you, but I'm a walker so you will be way ahead of me. However I'm shooting for a PR this time since I'm not doing the half the day before.

Vicky, sounds like you're a busy princess.

I had an awesome pool workout after rejoining the health club.

Dave:hippie:

Good Morning Team!

Vicky - I will post here (May), and again on June if you have gotten new thread ready.

Stacey - Good luck on the full marathon! Sounds like you have been doing well on the halfs! We can help you keep motivated on the training program!

Rick - Good luck on your walk!

Robbie - Good luck on your race!

Elizabeth - Sorry, recipe will have to wait until Monday - heading out for weekend, but I will put it on my “to do” list!

AFM - We got in a 26 mile bike ride yesterday - tomorrows ride in Colorado will be 34 miles. I am trying for 100 miles a week - won’t quite make it this week unless I count Sunday’s ride as part of this week - have 67 miles in so far. (That is counting all the .88 mile trips to the mailbox and out for the morning paper)

Pixie dust to all who are in need!

Have a great day team!
