Hakuna Matata - Marching in like Lions!

Good morning Team!!! :grouphug:

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts! It's bee a weird couple of weeks. Jon hired his buddy from AR to help out with the farm and the farm house. So, he's been staying here for the last 10 days. It's weird and kind of stressful.

Kristie! Please be safe. We can't do without you!!!

Mike! Wow! You are doing great! Hang in and don't push too hard. You cause more problems than you can cure, easily. Too much too soon and you end up not finishing the Goofy from injury ...like me!

Robert Helllo? We miss you.

Dave! You only owe $4,000 to IRS! Lucky Panda! You don't want my tax bill!
How did the date go? Just wanted to say, congrats on coming to your senses about that race!

Margie! How ya doing? IT's the weekend get some R&R, you deserve it.

Kim! Good job on weight loss. I have cut the sugar. I am working on getting my foot healed. It is so discouraging to hurt, seems like I have been hurting for years. But gosh, that's wonderful that exercise is a matter of routine! I want to be there, again!

Scott and Lynn - you guys are so busy. I hope you are finding some me time, even if it does take a snow storm to get it. Lynn, are you having troubles with the census?

Denise - You sound like you are doing great. I hope this year is easier for you guys!

Hope ! Are you back in the groove and preparing for that wedding. Just remember, a perfect wedding leaves no stories to tell! You know like when all your old pals and new pals get together and start telling wedding stories? If you say, "my wedding was perfect" there's nothing more to say! :rotfl:

Vickie You out there somewhere?

Sue I would like to do the princess, but I think I am going to have a long hiatus from Disney races....at least for a while. We spent a lot of money and that's just a long way to go!

Jack! Did i miss that chili recipe? congrats! How's the training going?

Jennifer If you change your name to speedy we will all understand.

Pam - great job on the training. You are coming along well!

Shannon! Are you still there?

My DD asked me to do a 5K in her town, so I registered. I will be doing tha on the 25th. Not expecting any medals, that's for sure. The good news about OKC is that I have 6 hours to finish. THAT should be easy enough! :rotfl2:

See ya! Connie

Hi everybody,
Just checking in! I officially lost ten pounds since going back to work. Thought I would join our club!

Dave~ Good luck with your date! By the way, as a misfit toy, can I be the cowboy who rides and ostrich?

Kristy~ Hope all goes well! Stay safe!

Everyone~ Train on! Happy Spring thaw!!

-Mike:cool2:

Margie, Yes it was quite fun. I can't even imagine what the girls are going decide to do when they find out our district meet is on my birthday.

Connie, As usual you are far too kind with you compliments.

I did 20 miles today. Did it in just under 3:20 (just under a 10 minute pace). Feels good to have it in the bag! My next marathon is two weeks from today.

Best,
Jennifer

Good Morning Team! :wave2:

Oh My - high of 48° with some sunshine again today!

Connie- We agree that it is difficult to have house guests for extended visits. Glad you are getting back to normal. Did you sign up for the WISH Virtual 5K on the 17th ? I have not (yet) as it is during the week, but with little ones I am not sure I will have the time or the energy left to get it in.

Dave- do hope you had a nice time last night! :goodvibes
Hey ladies, lets help our :hippie: 'we like men who really listen, have a sense of humor, are a bit mysterious and do not talk a lot about themselves, have at least one mutual interest, not easy to anger, etc... Please be honest!'

Jennifer- I like Speedy too...WTG with your 20-miler! :worship:

Denise, Jack, Lynn, Pam, & Robert-
Miss you Guys! :rainbow:

Hope- thinking you will reap the benefits of tossing those fishes around with some truly great muscles. Just think of your beautiful shoulders and arms in that gorgeous wedding dress! :goodvibes

Kim- I am sorry I forgot...When is your next race? :upsidedow

Kristy- Eager to hear your Race Report…and more importantly if you are okay! :grouphug:

Mary- how is your back doing?

Mike- Congratulations…WTG Mike 10# is an awesome accomplishment. :cheer2:

:cheer2::cheer2:Connie-10#, Kim-10#, Mike-10#, Dave-7#, Scott-4# and Vicky-(?)# We are so proud of you! I was thinking MaryJ shared she lost pounds also :cheer2: Me not an ounce:sad1:

Scott- I looked at the list of America’s 10 worst winter weather cities. Thinking they have something wrong…they listed Detroit MI, but not one city for Wyoming! Not sure what the criteria was (?) :confused3

Sue- I hope you have beautiful weather and sunshine for your 13-miler today. I know you are fast too - please share your time. :upsidedow

Vicky- Getting a bit concerned - Where O Where is our little Energizer Bunny?

AFM: will get a nice walk & the gym in this afternoon!

Enjoy the moments!

Thank you Margie. Yes I had a nice time last night, we have made another date for monday and probsably wed also. She is a sweet lady and if she turns out to be the new princess I will bring her down to Disney for your approval.

I'm headed over to the mall to walk since once again it's 25 degrees this morning, I thought we were done with that 20s stuff but one more day I guess.

Dave:hippie:

Margie, those people that do those lists never visit Wyoming LOL.

Lynn Found a trojan on our main computer last night and I think we got is resolved.

Pups are fed, veggie soup (with hamburger) is cooking away, coffee on, Cold adn wind with fog as it is just starting to get light.

Mike great job on the 10 lbs.

Had a pinch o work yesterday, I should avoid my work email, but it is on my work phone.

Hey anyone use an Ipod Touch adn if so which app do you use for documents.

Hey guys!

Yes, I hope the tossing of fish helps the arms and shoulders look good. We're getting married at WDW (anyone surprised?) so those parts will be perfect. We'll be deciding all that stuff in November while we're down there. Both sides of the family is kicking up some drama, so we'll see who gets invited and who comes. The dress is fully paid for, now we're just waiting for it to get made.

Quick-need to be out the door for Worship Service!

Lynn-WTG :goodvibes

Hope- Awesome!

Dave-so glad you had a nice date! Be honest; it is harder than it sounds, as we always want to impress the other person. Dear Friend-go slow...Okay so now I sound like a mother! :lmao:

Scott- I am so not techie and I dislike manuals with a passion, but I will ask DD about the iPod Touch application today...she has one. Also interested in your recipe for that veggie soup that is on! :goodvibes

Good morning Team,

DAve Glad to hear the date went well. But, when looking actively for a mate, look first for the red flags! If you see a red flag, run!

Margie I haven't signed up for the next virtual race. Not sure I really see the point, to be honest!

Vicky Are you on your honeymoon?

Mike, Scott, Dave, Kim :woohoo: Yea, for weight loss! I usually lose weight best in the spring. Maybe, some of you do too!

Mike So glad to hear your recovery is going so well. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

Kristy Tell Miss Vicky to let us know if she is with us!!! We miss her. -- How did your race go? I still think, "wow", when I remember how fast you go! I hope you are safe!!!!

Jennifer Sounds like you could be having a great birthday! How do I tell the girls?? They really need to know!

Hope One great thing about working in a grocery store, that's functional fitness. One bad thing....odors! :rotfl:

Pam, Robert, Shannon, Denise, Lynn, Mary, and Sue

See ya - Connie

Ok guys define 'Red Flags", I only had one date between my first two marriages and that one date lasted 24 years.

Dave:hippie:

Okay, I am the first to admit I am 'Clueless.' DD will confirms this...
Connie-So I too must ask...'What are Red Flags?'
:confused3

My definition of red flags would be something like this:

Your date stabs her food at dinner, instead of cutting it.
Your date mentions her previous five husbands have "gone to a better place".
She wants to have several drinks "for the road".
She gives the waiter her phone number.
She brings up the alien abduction thing that happened last month.
She supports herself with a hydroponics farm.
She wants to show you her scar from where the police dog bit her.
She mentions that "It's nice to be out of that drafty cell".
She is proud that the FBI "could find nothing on her that would stick".
She won a bar fight.
She started the bar fight.

And worst of all, She thinks Disney World is only for little kids!

Keep in mind, these are only red flags and not a reason to completely rule out a second date.

Now, guess which one my current wife did to me...

-MIke:cool2:

Recipe: I make it up as I go,

Burger a pound or so
Spuds (potatoes) cut to bite size
Corn
Onion
Carrots
Green beans
Peas
Big can o Tomatoes
Salt and Pepper to your taste
Oregano
Sage
Rosemary
Sage
Garlic
A good pinch on Ancho pepper
Tomatoe paste or sauce as needed
Also any left over veggies ya might have like celery

Toss into a crock pot adjust to taste as the day goes buy. There ya go.

Bread will be a french loaf, will be in the oven in about 2 hours.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

What a beautiful day. 50 degrees and the upcoming week of mid 40's.

Had a great weekend of runs. 5 yesterday & 14 today.

Margie, I was pleased with my time 2:15:10 for 14 miles. Did you get out for your walk or the gym?

Congrats to all with the great weight loss!!

Mike, Too funny on the red flag list.

Well laundry is calling. Have a great evening................Sue

Connie, Don't worry. The boys track coach knows and I'm told plans are underway.

Margie, You guys are too much some times.

Did 3.5 miles today in 30 minutes. I know I shouldn't have, but it was soooooo nice out.

Off to make tacos for dinner.

Best,
Jennifer aka Speedy

Mike thanks for the tips. I was wondering what to watch out for.

Dave:hippie:

Hope you all had a great weekend

Jennifer 3.5 miles in 30 mins:worship:

SueWTG on the runs this weekend

Scott That sounds yummy

Dave Hope you have a awesome time tonight. I agree with Margie don't rush it, it will all happen for you, just remember what a awesome person you are and you deserve the best.

Margie Not till the end of May, the Buffalo 1/2. Hope you had a great walk.

ConnieHey how is it going? My foot was starting to feel better, but is acting up again, actually starting to hurt more in the arch....grrrrrr. Lets both of us cure these foot issues and we will cross that finish line together some day:hug:

AFM:Totally ticked off this morning, I gainned 2 pds.!!!!! GGGRRRRRRR
Spent at least 1/2 of Saturday walking around Ottawa. Didn't eat that bad, did have 1/2 a hamburger and 1 soft drink all weekend. That was the only bad stuff and I gainned 2 pds!!!!! I guess it goes to show until I get to my goal weight, there are no planned cheat days.

I won. 1:10:06 :cheer2: There where 3 cranks.

It was very hard though as my disk break was stuck on the entire time.:sad2: I could not work out why I was having to pull so hard, it was harder than when I tow 75lbs behind me!!:scared1:

The best part was that because I took the lead I had my friend, the head lead for WDW sports take me.:woohoo:

It was cold, I am so sick of racing in FL and it being cold, if I go north I expect it to be, but having to wear cold gear down here in march is just stupid.
I went in to medical to get the heating packs put on my feet and they wraped me up and I sat outside as it was warmer out side than in the medical tent, thet had no heating.:sad2:

Everyone was slower this year, I think it must be because it was cold, I know i'm slower when its cold.
