Hello, Hakuna Matata! Just thought I'd pop by and send sun salutations your way! (Not that I'm good at them, but it's a sunny day and all....)
A smattering of responses....
Connie, Susie, Mary, et al: Congratulations on your race!

Looking forward to the RRs!!
ScottH: Congrats on the promotion. As if you weren't busy enough.... I'm impressed that you ran into your office. That's doing double duty.
Lynn: WTG being put into a supervisory position. Lots of work, but your bosses know a leader when they see one. Canvassing? The census? My brother works for the census bureau in D.C. Did a stint in Denver, too.
Denise: It's great that you've been getting back in the groove with walking. I go through these cycles where I don't feel motivated, then I avoid everything, and then come back. Like you, I struggle to find balance. I think weather has a lot to do with it, as once spring hits I'm far more motivated to get outdoors. I hope the same is true of you.

The massage sounds verrrry motivating.
Margie: Thanks for being such a great source of info and a cheerleader to HK and all the rest of us. This one's for you!

And another one for your last LW before taper and the Martian!

I hope you feel better soon. Oh, and I joined the President's Challenge--gonna take a while to earn the Gold, but I'll get there.
Dave: I'm glad to see you're back to your cheerful Panda self. You know you can always turn to us for encouragement, right?

And an old-fashioned noogie on occasion.
Vicky: You'll bounce back to your running/walking intervals in no time. You've been doing a lot of good, overall conditioning with your PT.
Jennifer: I hope I catch you before spring break (going home sounds relaxing). You've been working hard with the midterms and papers--I hope you get a chance to relax next week. Or at least play hard.

Great tempo run, btw. Your 1/2 is going to rock!
Sue: Glad you've been able to run outside in the sun. That first robin is very good news for spring. Hope today remained nice for you.
Jack: I love, love, love that St. Patty's Mickey pin. I don't collect a lot of pins--just in association with trips--but that one's perfect for the holiday.
Eva: Love your avatar! I ran the Cleveland 1/2 last year--don't know the 10K course, but can recommend the 1/2. Lots of good scenery in the beginning, leading into some beautiful residential areas, then back through the city. And good spectator support. I don't remember a lot of entertainment on the course--some DJed music to promote the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but not a lot of live music--but I might be spoiled with Disney on that one. The expo is small, but I scored a lot of free goodies, including a free gym Sack. It says Saturn on it, but it was free!
