Hakuna Matada - Let's March!

Vicky: Sorry, your post wasn't up when I started writing my reply!

Sounds like a not so fun start to the day. I hope things pick up from there (a winning lotto ticket is definitely in order!).

It's usper pricey right now it seems. Delta is the cheapest so far but I don't want to be stuck with them in the event rates drop. I'm new to flying so I'm not sure where and when to look for better rates. We'd be going from Detroit again more than likely since we're so close to the border, paying international rates is just not worth it.

I don't know if they give you any sort of clean-up access after but that's a very good question! No way will I get in my car completely muddy. I hadn't even considered that. :rotfl:

Hi guys!!

Vicky ~ No fun about faling in a puddle!! We get puddle issues around drains after snows (and heavy rains, but the snow times can be deceptive) that often look frozen or snow, then you step on it only to discover that it's a knee-deep puddle. EW!

Saylan ~ I usually set up alerts on Kayak.com for flights I'm looking at booking. They will search everything and put in the best rates. Personally I'm flying into LAX - Super Shuttle isn't too expensive, so not a big deal.

Dave ~ Hope you feel better soon!

Lynn ~ Hope the oral surgery went well!

Moi? I'm back from the PT's office. Things we discovered:
*I'm definitely in the right kind of shoes with stability/motion control. He watched me wal barefoot and said I definitely pronate.
* My patellas track to the outside. This is likely the primary cause of the problem because it can rub up against the old IT band.
* My muscles, particularly in my pelvic area, are nowhere near as strong as they should be - he assured me he sees a lot of runners in the same predicament.
* My IT bands in particular, but also other leg muscles, are really tight.
* My balance can be a little wonky, but I've known that from yoga.

He said it should be a quick fix, and sees no reason right now for me to run. Definitely keep up with the icing. I have several stretches to do, a command to use the foam roller every day (and upgrade to a firmer one ASAP), and strengthening exercises to do. Well, I did them today there, and the assistant who walked me through them all is going to email me a link to a website where I can see my particular exercises and little videos to remind me how to do them if I need that. I go back next Wednesday and Friday. Hooray for it seemingly being nothing TOO serious in the great scheme of things. Weak muscles are things that can definitely be fixed. :) But I can already tell I'm going to be SORE tomorrow!!! May pop some Aleve here in a few minutes to try and head it off a little.

~beth

Beth: Yeah I've got Airfare Watchdog up and will probably sign up for others.

Sounds like you have the same issues I do! Your diagnosis could have been directly applied to me, word for word. I'm glad it's not serious and I know it's work but it will be a much easier fix than something surgical. And if you ever want to compare notes, I'd be happy to talk. I love the exercises and my pelvic area strength/control has gone up so much. :goodvibes

AFM: I had a terribly weird morning. I woke up to our phone saying "Push start to set the time." Our phone has a really creepy deep man voice so that was weird.

Anyways, I noticed my alarm clock's time was flashing midnight so I figured our power went out. It was 4:55 and my alarm goes off at 7 so I just told the alarm to go off at 2 am (my clock being at midnight) and went back to sleep.

Suddenly, our fire alarm went off. Then the phone once again asked us to set the time and I look over. It's midnight again. :lmao: It was 6:20 and I just said screw it and half slept this time. I wasn't going to program the clock a second time. My DBF uses his phone to wake up so we were still up in time.

So I get ready, walk to the door of our building, and BAM! snowstorm. :headache: We're getting pounded. We've had over 10 cm, with another 10-15 on the way and it's sleeting out. I really wish they'd cancelled work but so far nothing has come from the higher ups. The drive was terrible and a lot of the highways in the area are shut down or in a standstill. :sad2: I miss Florida so much right now.

Well DBF waited a little too long to register for the DL half and although it says 98% it's really completely full. I tried to warn him to get on and do it and he kept putting it off. :sad1: He does this so much! I'm sad cause I was really excited at the prospect of us running together.

Good Morning Team!

Vicky - Hope you like the new trainer!

Saylan - We are staying at Grand Californian Villas on DVC points, all the Disney hotels are nice, but there are also quite a few close hotels off Disney property, many easily within walking distance. We always fly either United or Delta, whichever has better price and schedule. Disney sometimes opens up races again, another option, go to the main board section and see if anyone wants to sell their bib (maybe closer to the race when folks have changes of plans) - your DBF would have to run under another name, but if he does not need the time for another race, he could still enjoy the race. Hope you survive the spring snow storm!

Beth - Glad to hear that you should be able to correct all your problems with some training! Hope you are not too sore today!

Dave - Keep us informed on Sally’s job, and glad to hear you are feeling better.

AFM - Gum surgery went fine, it was the second time to correct same problem, and Dr. felt better about this on than the last. Not too sore today, spent yesterday icing my face. I am not supposed to “exert myself” for a couple of days, so took the dogs out for slow walk yesterday. It was a really nice day yesterday. Today is WINDY - 30-40mph wind, and it sounds like temps are dropping, started at 47 this morning, and it is now down to 42 degrees. We are under a high wind warning until 11PM tonight (meaning we could get gusts up to 60 mph). Still no hot water - the plumber is getting really frustrated with the maker of the hot water heater. (For Dave) He says he has never had these problems with these units before - usually it is just millar moths in the system that causes problems - but we had been warned about that, so our vent pipe to the outside has always been covered with screening to keep the moths out. Another part is being overnighted, so we will see! I think the plumber is about ready to demand a new unit from the company (ours is still under warrantee, so we are hoping they will just give up here soon and just say we can have a new unit!)

Pixie dust to all who are in need!

Have a great day team!

Hi Team!

Elizabeth- Way to go on finishing the Princess half! Thanks for the race report. I would love love to do wine and dine but since we are moving to another state and I’m not sure how long it’s going to take me to find another job, I don’t think we’ll be able to financially swing it this year. If we win the lottery though, I will be there with bells on! :rotfl:

Dave- I’ve been reading your posts on FB so I knew you weren’t feeling well. Hang in there! Don’t lose that GRRRRRR! Congrats to Sally! I hope Sally is able to find something permanent soon.

Lynn- I can’t believe the problems you guys are having with the water heater! Yay for your gum surgery going well! I hope the recovery goes quickly for you.

Vicky- LOL yes, I have been wondering where your e-mail is! :) No worries though! I would be really frustrated if my computer crashed after I spent all that time on it. DH is doing good. He’s a squad leader so I’m really proud of him! He graduates in 7 days. The house stuff is going ok- someone is looking at it tomorrow. How was the new trainer?

Saylan- Congrats on finishing your first half!!! I’m glad you both had fun and tried something new to each of you! What an odd day you are having! I’m sorry DBF missed the DL half cut off. I also missed the cut off because I couldn’t decide if I should sign up since I don’t know what my job situation will be. I’d been watching it for days but just couldn’t bring myself to sign up.

Mike- I’m glad you’re getting some training in. I hope Liz likes her new bike!!!

Beth- That’s great news that all those things can be fixed. Good luck strengthening those muscles!

AFM, I have been running/walking. Sydney and I went to the park and ran again today and then we played fetch with her stick for awhile. She’s been doing pretty well on her leash so that’s always helpful. The weather was about 48 degrees and the wind wasn’t too bad. I like the area because there are lots of people around doing different activities. I hope I can find a nice area like that for running when we move. I found out last week where DH is going to be stationed- Coos Bay, Oregon! That should most definitely be a different experience for me! At first I don’t think I was too happy about it, but now that I’m over the shock of it I’m looking forward to it. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up loving it there right? The main things I’m worried about are finding a place to run and finding some sort of job I enjoy to occupy some of my time (in that order of course!). DH flies back next Friday after he graduates and we leave the following week to look for a rental place. I plan on signing up for the Seattle Rock n Roll half since I know we could swing that trip since it’s close enough to where DH will be stationed. I just can’t decide if I should sign DH up as well? I don’t know if he wants to run it or not since I can’t talk to him. I need to stop putting it off and get it done this weekend so I can then officially start training for it.

Have a great weekend team!

Our big news is that Sally was offered and accepted a full time job. Just in the nick of time to and we are breathing a sigh of relief. She started looking as soon as we returned from Disney in January so it took a while. She sent lots of resumes and applied for a lot of jobs on line, we knew her resume was effective because she did get interviews but this was her first job offer. She will be working for combined communications.

I'm still sicky, I had to work yesterday and having to talk for 9 hours didn't do my sore voice any good at all. Oh well, i'll heal.

Dave:hippie:

Good Morning Hakuna Matata!!!!!!!!!!

Just stopping in to see how everyone is!

Dave - Glad to hear about Sally and the job! Hope you feel better!

Lynn - Good thing you guys got your hot water heater fixed before your party tonight! What time does it start?Wonder if I can figure out a way to get there for some corned beef!

Saylan and Vivky Toenails - My dad was a marathoner when I was little so from the time I can remember he was told me that its so important to keep my toenails short and never clip them down on the sides. Although they should be short to leave the sides a little longer than the skin so the don't get ingrown. I have had a couple of partial black ones from running in the last couple of years, but for the most part I never have issues. I see some women with longer pedicured toenails and I think to myself..."Boy, they sure aren't a runner...those nails would be gone!"

Beth - Glad to hear your PT is working for you. GL on the half next week!!

Regina - You are moving to Oregon?! I think I would love to live there! If I'm not mistaken, the temps are very good for running year round!!

Update - Still running. Up to 8 miles on my LRs. I think I want to run the Cleveland half this year. Should be good for it. :woohoo:

Hi team!!

Dave ~ Congrats to Sally!!! And hope you feel better soon!!

Eva ~ WTG on your runs!! And thanks!

Regina ~ Good luck with the move! And the Seattle RnR!! That sounds cool!!

Me? I went out for a 2.5 hour LSR this morning. And ran/walked 12.11 miles!!!! Without the ITB flaring!!!! Woohoo!!!!! I'm feeling good and pumped for the NYC Half next Sunday!! And trying to figure out what on earth I'm going to eat to balance the almost 1400 calories I burned (perspective? I'm allotted around 1250 per day if I do no exercise). I don't see how I can eat them all back...I'll puke!! LOL.

Hope everyone's having a good day!!

~beth

I started a new thread for walkers if anyone is interested.

We just got back from Cheddars where we had our celabration dinner for Sally getting a job.

I hope to be 100% soon so I can start training again. I'm looking forward to training again now that all my little pesky sore spots are all rested and healed.

Dave:hippie:

Hey team sorry for the MIA again, have read through but now really no time to post.

Just wanted to say hi

Good Morning Team!

Vicky - :wave2:

Saylan - :wave2:

Beth - Good job on the long run!

Dave - Congrats to Sally for her job offer!:banana::banana: Pixie Dust for your voice!pixiedust:

Eva - good to hear from you again! Keep up the good running work!

Regina - Good Luck with your move - Oregon is a nice state, I think you will enjoy it! Did you sign up DH for Seattle RnR?

Kim - :wave2:

AFM - Finally got hot water! (For Dave) It was not even the hot water heater, but the pressure tank on the well that died! Well, we now have a rebuild hot water heater also - have not seen the bill for it all yet! :scared1: Not much exercise over the weekend, I was taking it easy on Friday, Saturday we got out for a short bike ride, but it was colder than I expected on the bike, got dogs for a walk - plenty warm when walking rather than riding, and got more time in on the spin bike downstairs, but Sunday we both just vegged after cleaning up from the party.

Pixie dust to all who are in need!

Have a great day team!

Good morning team! Hope everyone had a great weekend! It's nice and sunny in Toronto this morning - now it just needs to warm up :) Sorry to be MIA! Just a little busy at work and at home!

Kim - :wave2: It's okay we know where to find you! Glad to see you checking in! Any thoughts on the Warrior Dash in July?

Dave - Injuries just get in the way of everything fun! Congrats to Sally on her new job! Any more thoughts on a trip to Canada or has that been put aside with Sally's new job?

Beth - My vote would be for lots and lots of pancakes! I love eating a big stack after a LR! And congrats on a fantastic pain-free run! Woo-hoo!

Eva - That's awesome that you're up to 8 mile LR now! Let me know if and when you do register for Cleveland and I'll add you to the race calendar! I love that you still type Vivky ... I actually typed that on my iPhone the other day but the spell check corrected it :)

Regina - Big congrats to DH! Oregon sounds nice! Being on the coast, the weather should be fairly even all year round? For RnR Seattle, do they allow bib transfers? If so, you could register him and then if he decides in the end not to run, you could sell/transfer the bib to someone else. Or you could run yourself and have him as your pit crew :) Any offers on the house after the viewing?

The new trainer was great! I'd worked with him on and off in the past! He's one of those trainers who will fit an hour workout into a half hour. He also felt that I had to start doing more exercises to challenge my ankle because he felt like it hadn't been used for a a while and would get more "stiff" over time if I avoided using it.

Lynn - Any progress on the plumbing situation? I'm glad to hear the gum surgery went well. My mom has had a couple of procedures done at the periodontist and is always warning me to floss and use a WaterPik. How's the no dessert rule going? Are you sticking to it?

Saylan - Clearly the fall wasn't enough for a winning lottery ticket  We had a ton of rain last week and a bit of snow. Now that it's the middle of March, let's hope it's over with! Sorry to hear about DBF missing out on the DL registration. Keep an eye out on the running boards, someone might have to sell their bib because of injuries or scheduling conflict. Anymore thoughts on the Warrior Dash? I'm postponing registering until I get my tax refund :)

AFM - I watched 'The Adjustment Bureau' on the weekend. It was ok - definitely a video rental if anyone is thinking of seeing it. I definitely need me one of those teleporting hats and one of those notebooks to predict decision outcomes :) I didn't realize it was based on a Phillip K. Dick short story... I did like the trailer for 'Paul'. I normally am not a fan of the CGI and live action movies but this one just looks funny!

I also went to a friend's birthday party on Sunday morning. She was someone I worked with at my last job and I hadn't seen her in about six years. She had a stroke a few years ago and was still regaining the use of her body. Her kids put together a photo slide show of her and it was a little sad to see how she use to be and how she was now after having her body give out on her. She was a chronic smoker, a non exerciser and had a poor diet so I'm sure that didn't help. It was just a reminder to me of how we sometimes take our bodies for granted and how we do need to take good care of ourselves. But overall the party was a lot of fun and it was nice to see the people I use to work with and to catch up.

Oh if anyone is thinking of ordering their race photos from ASI, there's a 13% discount code floating around. It's SHAMROCK13 and I think it's good until March 26?

I have a training session tonight and hope to get in a quick 25 minute run afterward. The eating this weekend was so-so as I had chocolate and cake at the party. Oh and a mini whoopie pie at Starbucks. I'd never heard of whoopie pies before - are they an American dessert? They remind me a little bit of Jos Louis snack cakes (Kim, Saylan and Sue will know what I'm talking about).

Have a great day everyone! :wave2:

Vicky, we have had to do a lot of cutting back since it took Sally much longer to get a job than we planned. We need everything, literally so we have had to for go some stuff. One of the things is travel, we may be able to do a trip to Canada next year but not before, as much as we love it there and visiting with our buds. Our next trip will probably be Disney in January but even then we are looking at cutting back to where we will be staying at a less expensive resort and not buying annual passes. We also had to give up our Health Club membership and any thoughts of doing any travel races this year. But she has a job now so by next year we should be caught up and have most of what we need. We got our house but still have no furniture for the upstairs. Once we have some bedroom furniture we will be able to host guests that happen to be in the area. Right now our priority is yard tools since the grass is starting to grow and and 1.2 acres is a lot to cut with a pair of scissors.

Lynn, I have been thinking of replaceing our water heater when the time comes to do that with what you have. I'm curious what all the repair costs were. That idea could change if it's expensive to repair.

I'm talking a little now and it gets better every day. a doctor friend told me to start gargling salt water and that has helped.

Sally and I walked an hour at the park yesterday when it was 70 degrees. This morning we woke to 40 degrees and raining. Hopefully that's as bad as it will get the rest of this winter and we will have more 70 degree days.

So this is less stressed and recovering Dave who is more optomistic about the future.

Dave:hippie:

Regina: Yeah I really hesitated too. I think it was 94% when I did it. I figured I'm only in it for 150$ right now and if I bail it's not like I've booked the plane and hotels and it's all non-refundable. DBF's in the waitlist so we're still hopeful. I'm sad that I won't see you there though. Maybe another year.

Beth: Congrats on the long run without IT issues. I hope it continues!

Lynn: yay hot water! :cool1: The suffering is finally over. Hopefully the bill isn't too much. It's not your fault they were fixing the wrong parts.

Vicky: Joe Louis? My DBF knows what they are but I don't so he explained them to me. lol He has made fun of me before for not knowing things like this (before the Joe Louis was Twinkies and before that was Drumsticks [the ice cream cone, not the meat] and before that was things like Cinnamon Toast Crunch or marshmellow cereals). :confused3 I never had any of them before he and I started dating (with the exception of maybe 2 bowls my whole life of sugar cereal). :rotfl:

I'm still debating on the Dash. I think it looks fun and it looks like Mermaid&Cinderella might do it too. I know she's from Ontario somewhere. lol I'd love it if my DBF could do it since he's working at running and this would be a nice chance for him to mix it up.

He did make it on the wait list so I'm hopeful for the DL 1/2. I'm not sure how selling your bib works. I thought they were non-transferrable. It looks like we can also book through Running Room and get him guaranteed entry. We're waiting on more info on that first.

Dave: Congrats to Sally and glad to hear you're slowly getting better. Salt water is terrible but when you need it you need it. I guess it beats Buckley's.

AFM: I slacked this weekend. I need to get back on track again but this weekend was a veg weekend. Hours of movies/tv shows. :rolleyes1

My DBF took this amazing panaramic photo of the world showcase (goes from about Norway/China to almost France). We had it printed up and showed my parents, who loved it. We'd sent a digital copy at first for them to see. Well my mom shared it with her sister cause she couldn't describe it well.

Now my aunt is writing asking where/how we got it printed and how much it cost, etc. Her phrasing is vague but DBF is worried she's going to try and print his picture for herself. I'm not 100% that's the case but if it is, we'd both be very disappointed. He worked hard on that photo and it's a unique photo to him.

We're waiting to see what happens but I'm holding out hope that she's going going to do that and we're just misreading her message.

DBF is also planning a boys-only trip with his guy pals to Orlando area including Universal Studios and maybe 1-2 days at Disney. He's really excited about it so I guess he does have a bit of the Disney bug now. I'm not much help though cause I've never been to Universal but I taught him well on Disney so he's already planning touring routes and what to do first, etc. :rotfl:

I slept all night, first time in 2 weeks I haven't woke up coughing and had to go sit on the couch for a while. I was really pumped when I woke up this morning and realized that.

I'm off tomorrow and planning my first real training walk since I got sick. It seems like forever.

Sally's first day of work is today and she will get her schedule and we can start making plans again.

Dave:hippie:

Good Morning Team!

Vicky - I am still sticking to the no dessert rule, I did eat some of the cookies I made for our St. Patrick's party over the weekend, but I am back to no desserts. As of today, I am down 10 pounds (in about 2 months) from my highest weight. I still need to lose another 7-10 pounds. In another 3 pounds, I will be under 150, which is my immediate goal. In the past, my knee felt better when I was under 150, and I am hoping that will still hold true.

Dave - I have not yet gotten the bill from the plumber, but it turned out not to be the water heater but the "pressure pump" from the well which was causing the problems. With the pressure pump not working, the well water surged and the water heater needs a constant water pressure to work properly.

Give us details of Sally's job when she knows what she will be doing - where is she working?

Congrats on sleeping thru the night!

Saylan - How about if DBF prints out his picture for your aunt as a gift - and signs it as the photographer? That way he can still "own" the picture.

Most bibs are non-transferable, but still folks will buy bibs from other people, it means that they will be running under the name of the original purchaser, which is fine by most folks, but will not work if you are planning to use race results to get you into another race (as the results will not be in your name).

Sounds like you grew up with a healthy diet - if you do not know what all those junk food items are!

AFM - not much to report on the exercise front - was again waiting for people to show up yesterday (a person to get a bid on paving our driveway), so was afraid to leave. He showed up at 2:30, then I was expecting a furniture delivery between 3 and 5 (which showed up at 4), so just got in a dog walk just before dinner time. It was a beautiful day out yesterday also, early before the wind picked up - would have liked to get the bike out for a ride. Spent the day cleaning up the cabinet that I was moving across the kitchen to make room for new "hoosier". What I moved is what I use as a china cabinet, so I spent time washing all the glasses and dishes I had it in.

Pixie Dust to all who are in need!

Have a great day team!

Hello team! Hope everyone is doing well! Don't forget registration for the Disney January races opens today! There are discount codes available for the marathon and the Goofy and more discounts if you have a Disney Visa. I feel so left out as a Canadian :(

Lynn - That's fantastic news on your weight loss! WTG!! Do you want me to update your weight loss progress on the team page? It's amazing how many calories accumulate from snacking and desserts. Sounds like you got in quite the workout moving things around in the kitchen.

Dave - Glad to hear you got a good night's sleep :) It makes a world of difference! Hope Sally has a great first day! Are you doing Goofy in January?

Saylan - You're better off not knowing what all the junk food is :) I forgot about the entries through RR. I'll keep my fingers crossed that he's able to get a bib on his own. Sorry to hear about your aunt. It is flattering that she likes his picture that much but I hear ya! I do like Lynn's idea for giving her a signed copy.

AFM - I didn't get to go running last night as my chiro wanted to do an adjustment on my ankle. I did do some other weight exercises and 30 minutes on the bike.

So I've sort of gone from not wanting to register for any Disney races in 2012, to wanting to register for the half and then the full and now I'm kind of tossing around the idea of registering for the Goofy. I don't know if it's a good idea or not but it was a race that I did eventually want to do. I have MCM at the end of October and am sure I'll have enough time to rest and start training again... but the thought of a half marathon followed by a full is scary!

Lynn: DBF said he'd be cool with doing that before this started showing up. There's a little friction there though and I think this is just making it worse. :sad2: I suspect he'll be printing on and giving it to my parents though.

But don't you need to show ID to pick up a bib? So if your ID doesn't match, it would be hard to pick up someone's bib. Hmm, I guess unless the person provides a waiver for you to pick up their bib? :confused3

My dad was very adament about no 'sugar cereals'. I think that made a lot of things like trips (hotels with frosted flakes at their continental breakfasts) a lot more special.

Congrats on the weight loss and sticking to your goals! That's a great motivator to keep at it.

Vicky: It's so weird cause my aunt's daughter was an artist (as am I) and so I am still hoping it's a misunderstanding since she must know how special art is to the artist.

The RR said info should be up this week and that it's just hotel and race entry. I think he's pretty early in the wait list (it opened at noon and I got him in at 12:17 lol) that I'm hoping he'll get in that way instead of with RR.

I'm half thinking they (runDisney) will wait till the last tier of registration passes, so that when they admit their waitlistees, they have to pay the highest reg fee. Unless they base the fee on when they entered the wait list against the tiered billing.

You can totally kick some Goofy butt! I think you'd do great. I'm in the same boat though, I want to do the Donald (15th anniversary and Donald is my dad's name so a Donald medal would ROCK!) and the Relay but I'm not sure if two halves back-to-back would kill me or not. Plus, DBF wants to run with me, but not the relay cause 'waiting sucks' so I'd have to find a relay partner.

How do you train for a Goofy since most programs don't have you running two days in a row?

AFM: I did training yesterday. I'm up another pound this week so I really need to start moving my butt again. I'm the same weight as when I started at the gym but I look way different so I guess that's the upside.

I'm afraid to start running till I can get in to see the pedorthist. Now that I have some time to train, I want to do it right.

It's warming up (sort of) around here and lot of the snow is melting (though more is forecast to be coming). I want to get out and try running around here now that the weather is nicer. The Princess was my first outdoor run and I do so much better outside than on the treadmill. I think I've watched too many crime shows though cause now I'm scared of getting murdered or kidnapped while running. :sad2:

Saylan - I'm going to think things over for a while but keep an eye on the registration percentage. If it gets close I'll register. I don't think that it will get close anytime soon but then again MCM filled up 28 hours after opening.

I remember another WISHer who was asking about a relay partner but her name escapes me right now. I'll see if I can figure it out. I hadn't thought about doing the half and the relay. That's an interesting option :)

For Goofy training, I believe that you do the LRs for each of the half and the full on the weekends. So if your half training program calls for an 8 miler and your full calls for a 15 miler, you do both runs Saturday and Sunday. I'll probably modify and do that every other weekend so that I'll minimize the injury risk. Kim, Sue and Dave (Lynn and Scott?) have all done the Goofy so they'll probably have a better idea of the training involved.

Funny you should mention the artist thing - My ex's family worked in a bunch of different professions (writing, medical research, music etc.) where you'd think they'd respect the whole don't steal someone else's work and copyright issues. Anyway, I went on vacation one year and they tried to get into my computer because they needed a copy of my resume which they copied verbatim (except for my name and the companies I worked for) and passed it off as their daughter's. Classy. I hope your DBF is able to work it out :) Family stuff gets sticky!

Workout wise - try and use this time to lose weight (not that I think you need to). I find it's always easier to lose weight when you're not in training for something. I know that sounds backwards.
