Hakuna Kidani, What a Turtleful Phrase!

Presley was my first choice for Charlotte's name - I was overruled by her big sister. 5 year old Peyton through quite a fit that we could not have another baby with a P as the first letter of their name, so we ended up going with Charlotte Presley, to keep the peace.

The pictures of baby Preslee on Facebook are gorgeous, as are the pictures of Disney here - congratulations on the new additions! Sparks my baby fever big time.

Enjoy your fall break. Sounds like you will at least get a break from the regular routine, even if you wont be in Disney. :goodvibes

Just wanted to stop by and let you know I got my Photopass CD and posted pictures up to this time on my TR.

Hi Memom, still here reading along from time to time. You sound very busy at the moment. Make sure you take time to relax when you get the chance.
I must admit to finding it hard to read the dis at the moment. I can't see
Us getting back to Disney in the next few years:sad2:. The thought of not going anytime soon really makes me feel so sad, then I feel like a spoilt little thing for allowing myself to get upset about such things. Some peoples lives are FAR worse than mine and they don't get upset. I should feel happy for the times that I have been ( but it's not working right now!!!). I shall keep popping in from time to time to read along with your Disney adventures
Joanne:)

I have to share what Bayleigh said to us tonight, while my husband and I were talking about our last minute trip in a few weeks. She overheard us talking and said "Why do we go to Disney so much?" Then, she said "I don't want to go, but I do like the rides and princesses." Who is this kid? LOL!

Even though we have been "talking" this week I wanted to get caught up here. Anita has a new princess to love!

Enjoy your time off and of course you will with Bella.

So did those papers you were grading yesterday get some good grades??

Those weren't just papers; they were report cards! I think some of the comments were kinder because of the Disney music. ;)

Congratulations on the beautiful new Distownettes, Preslee and Disney, and to Tinkgurl's new blessing!!! Thanks for sharing those heart-melting pics.
Claire, my heart is with you today. I am praying for the safe and swift arrival of your bundle of joy.
Jill, happy belated birthday!!!
MeMom, enjoy your week helping kids expand their worlds. Sounds like fun for all. And nice that it adds to your WDW piggy bank.
AKV looks and sounds so amazing! I can't wait to stay there. Saving for a week at AKL/AKV next year is why I was supposed to forego a Disney trip this year. So that worked. :rolleyes1
Have a great week, all!

I hope you have a great break MeMom and I hope Jill and Brooklynn have a fabulous trip! So you get Bella, who gets Sophie?

Congratulations to all the new DIStown Mommies and Grandmothers!

Congratulations to everyone with the new babies and grandbabies!!! :woohoo: Looks like from all the pictures that a lot of people have every right to be super proud of their blessings!!! :goodvibes

Happy belated Birthday to Jill!!!!!! :cheer2:

MeMom, intersession sounds like a wonderful experience, and a great way to add to the Disney funds!!!!! :thumbsup2 Hope you are enjoying all your time off............although I know you wish some of it could be spent throwing coins in a Disney wishing well!!! :)

So many new Disney babies! Such blessings to you all. :flower3:

So you want more coins thrown in the WL fountain? Can do!

You & Bella will have a blast! That'll be fun. :)

She is so excited about coming. I am guessing we will watch about a dozen Disney movies over four days! She wants to fall asleep to one every night, for sure.

Enjoy your fall break. Sounds like you will at least get a break from the regular routine, even if you wont be in Disney. :goodvibes

We went to a Discovery Center today. The kids did some creek stomping, caught tadpoles, touched a snake and a turtle, and did an erosion project. This is the kind of learning I wish we could do more often.

Just wanted to stop by and let you know I got my Photopass CD and posted pictures up to this time on my TR.

You have been SOOO much better than I have about updating!

I get the same way. When I cancelled March, I was so sad. I still am, but I know it has to be done, and I will be back next summer, so any pouting just because I have to go from January to July would be ridiculous.

I don't want to go..... :faint: :scared: I think it is time for a subliminal message CD to be played at bedtime. ;)

Have a great week, all!

When it comes to saving, I am horrible. Every time I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel, something falls apart. :crazy2:

I hope you have a great break MeMom

I will very much enjoy next week! :cheer2:

Blessings they are! Can't wait to watch them grow up in Disney ways.

The kids had a blast today learning in a hands-on way.

This week is still packed, but I will have all of next week off. I am very much looking forward to it. Before then, I have a thousand hours of eval work to do.

Congratulations to all the new DIStown Mommies and Grandmothers!

Congrats on the new little ones! You are very blessed! :goodvibes

So many new Disney babies! Such blessings to you all. :flower3:

Hope to see more baby pictures soon. :goodvibes

Looking off of our balcony to the right.

African crowned cranes.

I think she was surfing, maybe?

Kidani door. I don't recall if it was ours or just one in the hall.

Art work.

Nigeria has some wise words. :)

Mickey in the carpet.

Kidani's gift shop, Johari Treasures.

Past Sanaa.

Out to the firepit.

We were thinking this was a pretty cool place!

Look warrior-like, girls.

Okay, that was not very scary. Try again.

It would be cool to make something like this with all of our DIS friends' names on it.

Public restroom.

Empty bench.

Full bench.

Next time, we find water, and that makes little girls happy. :goodvibes

I remember how I was the tiniest bit disappointed that Howard and I were going to stay at AKL for our honeymoon just because it was the cheapest. For the year or two before, we thought we'd splurge on the Poly, but we chose to save money on the resort so we wouldn't have to feel guilty about the few ADRs we had if we wanted to order appetizers and such. I prepared myself as much as I could with info and pics online before we left.

Then we walked through those doors at Jambo, and our breaths were taken away. I now understood why people have such attachments to resorts! I can't get over the fact that all the animals are around just wandering. AMAZING! Since then, I've loved loved loved reading about people's experiences at Jambo and Kidani!

Oh MeMom, you are bringing back such delightful memories of our stay at AKL/Kidani two years ago. Your pictures are wonderful...and made more beautiful by those two adorable girls. I can't wait to stay there again next year.

Happy Sigh- in a week I will be back on property ( well 1 week and a few hours) As usual I need this one. Time to relax and recharge my batteries they are pretty low right now.

AKL just makes me smile.

We'll need to have two rounds of coins for the WL fountain - first round would be to get DH on board with having another. Once he's on board, then we can move on to round 2 - baby wishes!

Love your pictures of Kidani! They take me right back to our vacation! Thanks so much for sharing!

I still haven't even downloaded the pictures from our trip onto my computer yet :scared1: Maybe I'll get to it before we've been home a month - that gives me 6 more days.
