So for Christmas I got this amazing flat iron that actually works on my uber curly hair. Now I have all kinds of different possibilities.

I'm really excited as I never really got to do much with my insanely thick and curly hair.

My hair is about 2 1/2 inches past my shoulder. It's all about the same length since my layers have grown out (I really need a haircut). It's medium brown, if that makes a difference.

Suggestions?

Get some choppy layers too (careful when you leave your hair curly, it might look like a fro, haha)

Yeah, I definitely need a hairstyle that I can at least pin up in a ponytail when I don't feel like straightening my hair.

Ah, I could use the same advice. My hair is boring; it grows naturally straight, but I can't think of anything to do with it-- it just hangs there looking like strands of dead, brown cells. Wish I knew how to do more with it. :/
