Do they still have a hair dryer in the rooms?

It would be 1 less thing to pack if they still do~

Internet cable if you need it

Note that they are only 1500 watts, I believe, so if you need a stronger one you will have to bring it along.

This was helpful! Didn't know they were in the room. Is this also true for the POR-Riverside?I thought I had read on the resort fact sheet or someplace that hair dryers were not automatically in the room but had to be requested from housekeeping but maybe that was old info.
Regarding the internet service, you have to pay for this service right? And even if you have a laptop, free service is not available in the lobby?

Yes, there are hairdryers at all the moderate hotels. They are the wall type, and have a light on the base that doubles as a nightlight. They were installed as part of the renovation of the rooms, I believe. You are right - they weren't always there.

As for internet, there is no free internet at Disney that I know of. It's $9.99 per day. I think some of the convention hotels (not POR or POFQ) have wi-fi in their lobby - also not free, but I think it may be a bit cheaper.
