Oh yes, I learned this the hard way...

Stylists are normally really paranoid around my hair, I think because I keep it somewhat long, and they're scared I'll cry or something if they go too short. I always have to give specific measurements before any of them have been willing to cut.

So, I've never had this problem.

You are so right! I did this with bangs a few years ago. I have not been back to that woman since.

It's only hair, it will grow back.

I know! I said the exact thing with my bangs. Two months later they are almost at the length I wanted when I got the cut. I couldn't blow dry my hair, cause my bangs would be straight up!

I usually trim my own bangs. I'll be resuming that.

Luckily my hair grows fast. I'll go back to her- She did check w/ me before going shorter. I had a really bad hair day, so I was thinking I needed a change. Boy did I get one.

I'm glad that it looks better now. Maybe it will "grow" on you. But I know what you mean about getting your hair cut shorter than you expected.
