Hairbraiding

My family and I have been on DCL several times and have had our girls hair braided, is there a place any where at DW to have this done??????
Only 25 days to go

I think there are places where you can get your hair wrapped. I've never had it done, but I think there is one at Downtown Disney. I don't know about the braiding.

There was a place at DTD in the past. My daughter has had it don there on several trips. Don't know if it still is there or not. I believe it was done at a small outdoor stand very near the Pearl stand out by the water.

DW and I are wondering also. DD9 likes to get her cornrowed. I remember the wraps they had at the resorts and parks, but I don't remember anything more than that. I wonder if BBB does it?

When we were there the beginning of Oct., there was a booth at the Beach Club for hair braiding. I can't remember if it was on the Beach walk or the Pool area though. I don't know if it's always open or not.

My girls each had their hair braided at Perwig's, the hair salon at the Beach Club. I believe it was around $55 for a half head braid. I think it is a little over $100 for the full head of braids. I believe that you can get your hair braided at any of the resorts that have full-service hair salons.

One trip my oldest had it done at Port Orleans,
Next trip both girls had it done right outside Toy Pizza Barn in MGM.
They did a great job and were really nice but you have to be prepared to hear the Muppets song over and over.
It was kinda like when Feds played Aikey Breaky Heart to get the people to surrender.

They used to do it at POFQ, don't know if it's still offered.

My daughter had it done at the ***, when we were there in 2004, I hope that they do have it at POFQ for our trip this time.

They had a stand on the Boardwalk when we were there a year ago. I don't remember the price, but I believe it was based on how many inches you had braided.

Yes they do it by the inch, with a minimun amount of inches.
Then they charge by the beads at the bottom.
Both girls cost me around 30 something, but one has shorter hair.

I love having their hair out of their faces, better for impromtu pics toos!! We are staying at the GF so I will call the salon and see if we can get it done there.

Just to clarify if you want the cornrow braids like the OP that can be done by appointment at any of the salons. IIRC, the Beach Club, CR, GF and Dolphin all have full service salons that will do cornrows with an appointment.

If you want the hair wrap with the colorful string and beads every resort has a stand at the pool, depending on the season maybe only during the weekend. All 4 parks have it as does the boardwalk in the evening. No appointment necessary but sometimes there is a wait.

Most recently I have been having my dd's cornrows done here at home just prior to a trip. They come out great, cost a little less and we don't "waste" vacation time. Just another idea ~~
