Oh Shelby I love the new hair color! Now when you say its temporary, did you do it out of a box that you bought, or temporary, but down at the hairdresser?

I've had Highlights and part of me has always wanted to dye it darker but idk. My hair is a dirty blonde with some bright blonde and some dark brunette streaks.

So do I, my hair looks like yours in the pic (but not red) and the curls are tighter on my underside of my hair and looser towards the top layers, I don't know how to explain. I am not trying to start and argument though. By the way your hair looks beautiful.

In the picture, teh underside of my hair is still wet, so its not as fluffy as it normally is.

My grandma was a hairdresser for years, and my mom does my hair. She ruined hers with years of permanent dye, so she doesn't really want me to use that on mine. I've found something I like, and it doesn't frizz my hair out.

and I bought a box of temp dye at Walmart. Its applied just like regular dye, but it washes out in 2-3 months.

im blonde. its alright. im kind of bored of it though. i used that temp. dye on my hair once, and made my hair fire-truck red. i absolutely loved it, but it never really washed out of my hair, so i had a pinkish tint to my hair for months.

but im applying at disney in about two weeks, and they dont like abnormal hair. -sigh-

Ugh, I bought one of the temporary boxes from wal-mart 2 years ago in the summer and my mom did it for me.
WARNING:
DON'T EVER LET YOUR MOM DO IT IF SHE DOESNT KNOW WHAT SHE'S DOING!

It was in the summer going into grade 10, and we bought a box from walmart for streaks, but my mom did it wrong so only the top of my hair got dyed.

this is how I had my hair for nearly half a year until it grew enough to get fixed by a PROFESSIONAL. Then it looked like this:

I WILL NEVER DYE MY HAIR AGAIN.

that's my natural colour. you can see there is still a bit of dye at the end.
after two years of growing it the dye is STILL in!!!

moral of the story:

Don't dye your hair unless you're sure you're going to like it
and DO NOT let your mom do it unless she knows what she's doing!

What is your natural hair color? Dark brown, you have no idea how many times I've argued over whether it was black or not. Right now, I have some light brown in it from the summer.
Do you like it? I'll like it better when it's grown out and the roots aren't as bad.

My natural hair color is light brown and very plain. I started doing blonde highlights in 6th grade (12years old) .. I think around 8th grade I decided to experiment with more color, and I went for a slightly darker brown, like caramel. Then I tried really really dark mahoganey brown. Didn't like it, so in spring I tried to lighten it up. Over the summer going into 9th grade, I was going for the Gwen-Stefani-bleach-blonde look, but it turned out YELLOW. I looked like a dandelion. So then right before school I dyed it a reddish-brown color, which was okay. Then a more chocolate color, then right before summer vacation, I dyed it bright cherry-brown and it looked awesome. I went back to brown before school started, and it's been some variation of brown since then. I hardly ever stick to the same shade, though.

This is my favorite shade (but I can't remember the brand or color!!) about a year ago...

Do you like it? My natural color? I liked it. Some strands were darker than others in the light so it was a nice mix. I sort of like the black hair, but I don't think it looks right with my skin.
