Hair wraps - where, how much, and how long does it take?

DD7's friend came home from WDW with a hair wrap -- so of course DD wants one too. Where can we get this done, how much does it cost, and how long does it take? I don't want to waste hours on it, but I think I can give it a little time!

I'm not sure how much they cost exactly, but I got one a couple years ago. It is dependent on the length of the hair. They charge by the inch or something. It really doesn't take that long as they are pretty fast at the wrapping. I think mine took about a half hour or so.

They charge per inch so the cost and the amount of time it takes depends on how long her hair is. I don't remember for sure how much it cost for my DD but I THINK its was around $30 and took about 30 minutes or so. Her hair was long - well below her shoulders.

i just got back... and i got mine done!! i've always wanted too so one night at the resort i did it! it cost 1.50 and inch. plus the cost of the beads. My hair is pretty long past my sholders so i did it underneath my hair instead of starting on the top and i think it saved me some money. It was 25.00 and took about 15 mintues if that. i have 4 little beads, one big one, and speraterators. So it all depends on what you get. If you want i can post a pic of mine! Like i said i just got back so its still in my hair! Have fun!!

I think there's a place right outside the Port Orleans Riverside lobby right overlooking the marina, at least there was one there 3 years ago.... my sister, step-sister, and cousins all got theirs there i believe, and i remember them being at a somewhat outrageous price, but at Disney, what isn't?

I got mine done by teh POLY pool YEARS ago haha. but I actually did something pretty smart, instead of getting it in my hair, I had one done by itself with a little clip attached, and I could put it in, take it out for as long as I wanted. I wore that thing to different places for months! I think i still have it somewhere lol

i saw it Right outside the pirates of the carribean ride.... and near rainforest cafe at DTD!!! I got mine done @ Pop Century

There is a place in MK near Pirates. I have also read about various places at the different resorts as well as AK.

I had mine and DD's done by Monica (she is awesome) at the Boardwalk right at the top of the boat ramp the past 2 years. We both had them placed behind our ears. They are $1.50 per inch plus beads, although they never really tell you what the beads cost. My wrap is about 9-10" and was $20 w/ beads. DD's is about 15-16" and was $35 w/ beads. We had them done the 2nd or 3rd of January and they are both still in. Total it took about 1/2 hour for both of us.

We love our hair wraps it is a long lasting souvenir.
