Hope this is the right place to post this question but here goes....how long do you usually keep a hair wrap in? They told us they last 2 weeks to 2 months. If it lasts more than 2 months can you still keep it in?? My daughter has one and wants to keep it in as long as she can but i'm not sure if I should (this is our first experience with a hair wrap). Any input would be helpful!

My DD7 has had hers in since Jan 20 or so, still looks good. Last two times she had them the whole thing eventually broke off. That leaves a very small bald patch but eventually the hair grows back. If you want you can take it out. My DD would freak if I attempted that so we'll just wait until it falls off. She still has the old ones on her memory board.

My friend cut her daughters off becuase it was breaking their hair. One lasted less than 2 weeks the other about 3 weeks. They have really thick hair but my daughter on the other hand has very thin hair. I don't know if this make a difference but she would also put up a fight if i tried to cut it out!

My dd's last one lasted from July to November. Got a little faded, but it was still in good shape.

WOW! Everyone keeps asking when i'm going to take it out because the hair must be dirty underneath but we wash it all the time. :confused3 I would think that would keep it clean, after all there isn't much hair in the wrap.

Mine staye din for about 3 months, then broke off :confused3 o well now its in my scrap book!

My DD's first hair wrap stayed in for more than 3 months. She got it in mid-May of her kindergarten school year, and still had it when she started 1st grade! It finally started to unravel, so I just pulled the threads off. The hair underneath was very tangly, but not damaged...a little detangler and combing & it was good as new.

The last hair wrap DD had stayed looking very nice for over a month, but DD wanted me to cut it off before it unraveled so that she could save it.

How much are the wraps, where do you get them and what do they look like?
(pausing for breath  ) I'll be going with two little girls and I'm sure I should budget for these.

Hope i helped, I think th elittle girls wil love them!

Our 6 year old daughter had hers for almost 2 weeks and we took it out because it was really breaking her hair--her hair is fairly fine but I didn't expect it to break off so much!
P.S. Great name! ;) :)

Wow! Thanks guys! What great responses! I'm sure even if I tell them they will make their hair break off it will be a lesson they insist on testing themselves. One girl will be 13, she's been out of the province only once on a school trip-but never left the country! Her mother will not be along and I'm sure she'll be the first in line for this one! The other girl will be 7 and of course want one too :rolleyes1 (luck for me her mother will be there so I only have to pay for the one!!!)

and of course for mine...
