Hair wrap by Poly pool?

Good info on wraps, my DD's love them and have saved one that they have clipped to a hair barrette so they can wear it again :)

Is it true that the wraps on the Boardwalk are cheaper than at the Swan? I thought they were the same costs everywhere! This could be an interesting exercise - where can you find the least expensive wrap? - per inch or addedd flat fee.

How about a - what did you pay
- for what
-where?

I paid $21.30 ($1.50 per inch)
for 10 inch wrap, 4 colours, 7 beads at Boardwalk
(in front of the Big River Brewery).

When I was talking to the girl, she told me that her stand
was run by an independent company that trained her, pays
her hourly and rents the space on the Boardwalk from Disney.
She did not work directly for WDW.

Thanks mom_rules - I'll try to take it out prior, but it's a bit long.

Goofy4tink:Good advice about doing it behind the ear. DD's is at her part in front of her ear, and have trouble ponytailing it sometimes!

Price: I think it differs depending upon what you have done. The price list at the Swan was in fact $1.50 per inch, BUT if they did "decoration" (lets see....how do it explain.......) DD's wrap is wrapped with 4 colors, but every inch the girl changed it to a pattern of X's instead of just wrapping. It's really nice, but she just went ahead and did the pattern for $2. per inch. I guess we got the "deluxe" version. Be aware, however she didn't tell me that when DD started the wrap. We were on our way to the pool, and it took about 30 minutes to do, so I didn't feel like arguing about the price.
I guess my advise would be ask about the cost, what they will be doing and number of beads you get at the beginning!!
For us - $6 + $2/inch (decorative wrap, 4 colors, 7+ beads)
Grotto Pool at Swan/Dolphin

disfanRN - a neighbor told me about the conair wrap at Target. I saw it on TV and didn't think it would work that well. Glad to hear it does - great idea for bdays!

I guess I'll WRAP it up now........

Okay everyone- I have said no to the hair wrap everytime we are in WDW because of the cost, so when I saw this I knew I could enlighten you all!!! The Conair Hair Wrapper!!! I bought it for 20 dollars at Target, and purchased additional string at Joann Fabrics for refills, at $2 for 300 yards!! It comes in all colors, plus rainbow, varigated, gold or silver sparkle with color. The kit comes with 2 colors and beads. Best of all it works, is tight and lasts as long as you want. For my 8 DD birthday sleepover, I did all 10 girls hair, and weeks later they still had them in. A true bargain comparatively, and you can have it any time you want. More money to spend on other things

Thanks for letting us know, DisFan! I think I saw a commercial for that too, sounds awesome! ;-)
