Hair Trial Question

How long do hair & make-up trials usually go on for?

Are you able to try out more than one style?

Do you bring books of styles with them?

My hair and Make up trial was a couple of hours. I brought in pics of styles that I liked, some from Magazines some from the 'net, and we tried out the different styles- #5 was the winner for me (although she would've kept going until I was happy). She did a make up trial as well and then took pics to document what I decided on for future reference for the wedding day.

I'm flying in from UK so can you do a trial a few days before? Is it necessary to have one?

Can you not book a little extra time when you havn't had one so you can 'play' a little bit?

I just want my hair down and curly (his hair naturally waves) but as my hair is think I will need them to thicken it up if possible. For makeup again I want really natural, my fiance hates lipstick so a slick of vaseline is all I'm allowed, lol!

Based on this I should be good to just book one session for the day right?

I am going to do mine about a week and half before the wedding, or straight away when we arrive in orlando.

I am going to take photos from a hair trial here in uk out there for them to try and if there is any more, i will ask for them to try it out also.

Also, does anyone know how much the hair and make up trials cost? OR are they free ... and how much do you tip???

I think it's the same price as for your wedding day. At least I know that's the case for Beaute Speciale and I'm pretty sure it was the same with Patricia LeJuene.

I usually tip 20% for something like that, but it's up to you.

I am having mine 3 days before the wedding. I don't want to leave it to chance on the day and not get what I want.
